I purchased this light to hang from my cathedral ceiling. Looks really great. Hangs just enough to fill the space. Nice looking light fixture at a good price.

We loved (kinda) our original chandelier - because of its beautiful and unique design. It's single flaw was that it used small Halogen light bulbs that frequently burned out and were expensive to replace.On top of that - those bulbs didn't really get very bright - and then eventually, one of the fixtures died, and we had one light out at all times.We shopped around at traditional brick & mortar stores hoping to find a worthy replacement - to no avail.Then - it hit us - check Amazon! Sure enough - Amazon has TONS of beautiful options - though not all would work in our smallish space.THIS chandelier fit the bill however. It is even more beautiful than our previous chandelier - but thankfully takes STANDARD size E26 bulbs.This was easy to install (I have no electrical experience whatsoever) in an existing fixture and didn't take long at all.The only modification I had to make was to shorten the wire because our ceiling is 8 feet and over a table - so the chain was not used.That being said - it does come with a long chain if you have high ceilings.The domes around the lights are a frosted white (not alabaster I believe) - and is nice and bright.I added 60W equivalent dimmable soft white LEDs - which are not as soft as incandescent lights - but look beautiful.I will be adding a dimmer switch - because with 5 60W equivalent bulbs - it can be too bright in certain situations (a good thing!).We've gotten some serious complements on this chandelier since we installed it, and we marvel at its beauty every time we flip the switch on.If you're looking for a beautiful, bright chandelier to your home - look no further.

Beautiful light fixture over my dining room. It's solid, well made, very classy. Price was perfect as well. Highly recommend.

Changed to this fixture to update the house. Looks great, but install is a little tricky getting all the pieces mounted in order so you do not have to start all over again if you don't have everything ready to hang.

We bought this light fixture because we love the design, and the reviews made it seem easy to install. If you’re a DIYer depending on instructions, buyer beware! It isn’t super complicated, but the one-page instructions are not sequential and lack crucial information related to final assembly. Ultimately, we figured out the steps but were hit with another issue - there is about 8 feet of chain included and the cord is equally long. We weren’t expecting to need to cut the chain or strip wires for a lighting feature that is advertised as a dining table, but the core and chain length were long enough for the fixture to rest on the floor. At the end of the day, we got it installed and it’s gorgeous, but be prepared for a little more work than expected!

I bought the 5 light version for the dining room and the 3 light one for the kitchen. They look really elegant once in place, contemporary without the industrial look that you so French see. They give plenty of light and really brighten up the rooms. I guess my only issue was with the installation and instructions. If you’ve never hung one before, then you’ll never figure it out from the over-simplistic instructions. The other problem is that the wires are not color coded, and since you’ll most likely have to shorten the chain and wirefor a standard 8 foot ceiling, there’s no way of knowing which is supposed to go to the hot and common once cut since the tags are on the end. I was impressed however with the two master links that make it a breeze to shorten the chain. Overall, am quite satisfied.

I am SO HAPPY with this purchase! I was truly suffering from terrible indecision about a new light fixture in our dining room to replace the tacky ceiling fan that had been in there. I knew I wanted something with a modern flare, but not too unusual, that looked both tasteful and expensive, but actually wasn't expensive at all. I found it in this! The fixture is quite high quality, heavy and impressive looking. It brings in a note of tradition that softens the modern look into something very appropriate for my dining room, avoiding venturing into Mad Men era, but definitely more up-to-date than the past decade. The lights facing the ceiling give it a softness and we used a dimmer switch to enable us to take full advantage of this. I would absolutely buy this fixture again. No regrets.
