Works with older Karcher power washer with M adapter.
The original adjustable wand on my 25+ year power washer was not working correctly this season. Was hoping that I wouldn't need to scrap the unit an buy new for a few more years of need. Consulted with Karcher Customer Service to confirm it would work as long as I added the M Adapter. Purchased both and now back in business.

An excellent replacement for my old K2 wand
I had been using my stock K2 wand since 2016 and it no longer seemed to work on the high pressure setting for some reason. I got this replacement wand on sale and was able to try it today. It completely restored the pressure washer's nozzle pressure.

Not the same as the original vario
For older Karcher power washers (bought mine from Costco), you need to purchase the adapter from Karcher’s website if you plan to buy this vario power spray. But if you buy it from Karcher then you might as well buy everything from them. Regardless, the newer Karcher vario power spray I bought through Amazon does not fully concentrate the water stream to a flat plane as the original. It’s close but not the same so you lose some cleaning power. Overall it works.

Great replacement
Have a K5 class Karcher. Original wand went south. This one fits a bit tight but has good pressure. Have only used a few times but very satisfied so far.

Also works with Karcher 410 (with slight modification. read reviewer pdwilkersn).
VP145 fit into my Karcher 410 after I ground off 4.5mm from the Spray Gun tip. No leaks. Perfect high pressure spraying.

Does not fit my Karcher model K3. Advertised to fit models K1 through K5.
This item is advertised to fit models K1 through K5. It does not fit my Karcher K3, more specifically, model K 3.91M. In the photo, the original wand is on the left and the new one is on the right. The new wand will not insert far enough to be able to engage the locking mechanism in the handle.

had to modify wand for it to latch in
After modification, wand worked as designed.modification:Wand would not latch in. Could not push into handle far enough to turn to latch. Distance between locking shoulder and finned shoulder too short. Cut back finned shoulder by two fins. Now I can push it in far enough to turn.My other wands have more distance between latching shoulder and finned shoulder. What happened here?
