Q: What is wrong when leaves curl up but feet rubbery

That's right, these are ornamental plants so their leaves are shaped like that

Q: On my order it says,needs 2 has one. What does that mean? Does this plant come with two plants?

I am not sure what that means but I can tell you that my two experiences with this plan were both very disappointing. The plants died quickly.

Q: Does it only grow in tropical climate

I used to live in San Diego and they grew great outside even though at night the temps could be in the low 40's. Now I live in North Carolina and I grow them in pots and bring them inside because it gets below freezing. San Diego was not tropical but they grew like weeds.
