Optima Batteries 8050-160-FFP D31T YellowTop Dual Purpose Battery

I have several of these D31T type Optimas. I use them in my diesel pickup as a single-battery solution, no more dual-batteries to deal with. This battery has never let me down. One of my trucks is an old Ford IDI, and depending on the weather, it can take quite a bit of cranking to get it going. This Optima starts it every time. One time I left my headlights on ALL DAY at work.. came out at night and thought I was going to be stranded... but nope! I also use these in my race vehicle; one battery for starting, one for everything else.The offset cells mean that you have to custom fit it, and I ended up making custom battery trays. Plus this is one big battery. Oddly the offset cells provide a nice 'handle' on the corners so it is easy to pick up and carry.Never had a leak, or a cracked case, or anything bad actually. Highly recommended.Edit: Here it is almost 2022, and I'm still using this battery, bought in early 2014, in my diesel pickup. Still start it on first crank, every time.

I got 2 of these. Such a great deal one will run all my jeep the other one will be a back up that will take a change from the jeep but have a heavy switch to switch to the back up battery or to run both at once for very high draw times; 2000 watt power inverter

So far so good i got cus i have a 12inc Pioneer TS-W3002D4 and a hifonics amp very good combination, i have other amps in the car but i got most cus this battery can do 2 things at ones

Great battery, I use 4 of these in my commercial truck and they work great. I don't have to idle my truck at night because the batteries can handle the hotel load.

Amazing battery, my last one lasted 8 years, so i had to stick with optima!
