If you want bright like the daylight Sun at noon the 5000 k is the way to go.If you go any higher than that it starts having a blue change and the Brain is not adjusted to deal with that frequency so it makes seeing objects on the road harder to interpret.

Big improvement over factory installed headlights
Great results for a reasonable price.

Bit disappointing
2020 Silverado 2500HD LT model. Did not come with LEDs and the OEM head lites looked yellow and dim. I tried the Sylvania Ultra XZEs or whatever and they were disappointing too. Thought the 5000K would be whiter than the 4200 XZEs. Maybe but still disappointing.Ended up getting LASFIT PRO LEDs. Really nice and made for that truck's reflectors and really bright and white. You're looking at between $300 and $350 however. WORTH IT!

Made in China, not Germany.
Osram lighting and sellers of Osram will give the impression that it is a German product manufactured in Germany. This is the first Osram bulb I’ve ordered that is labeled as made in China. I thought I was getting a German manufactured product. The first picture is the bulb I just ordered, the second picture is a bulb that I had previously ordered.

Replaced my factory high beams. Much whiter light and brighter as well. I will have to see how long they last.
