Pre de Provence Soap On a Rope, Sandalwood, 200 Gram

I love the smell of the sea salt. This is a little pricey but a nice indulgence, hope to get it on sale next time. Rinses off nicely and you don't feel like you have soap left on your skin. The rope is a nice thickness, too. The scent does not linger on your skin....that would be my only change about the product.

This soap is pricey. But, you are getting a good deal anyway. The bar is surprisingly heavy and should last a very long time. The scent is natural and pleasant... and we have an herb garden with real lavender to compare it to. This was purchased because my wife fell and broke her wrist. Everything must be done with one hand while it heals. With the rope, she can shower without dropping the bar and hang it on a hook in the shower stall. It is safer for her to use than a plain bar.

This soap leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed. It does not leave the kind of residue that so many commercially produced soaps do, but, rather, leaves me with a dry feeling as if I have removed the previous day's sweat and dirt and am ready for the new day. The scent is pleasant but not overbearing which I like, lingering only a short while. It is also less costly than its more expensive competitors--yet as good--and one cake lasts a remarkably long time. And did I mention the rope? Never again will I shower with a soap that isn’t attached to a rope. As an old guy, the rope is as much a matter of safety as it is convenience.

This was an inside joke going back between me and my father since I was a kid. Now that my own kids are old enough figured I would rekindle the ever so loved soap-on-a-rope. I don't know what it is about such a simple concept, but kids love it. My son won't take a bath without it and insists on cleaning himself every time (actually does a good job). Aside from the novelty of being soap on a rope, it really is a very high quality bar of soap, it smells fantastic and leaves your skin with a smooth refreshed feeling. Additionally, I have notice absolutely no irritation on my sons sensitive skin, which is a huge plus. I was so impressed with this soap after the first week I went and bought 3 more bars just in case. Final note on this soap is how incredible long it lasts.

Pros:-Rope makes it very easy to hold onto in the shower-Lathers nicelyCons:-Scent is not very strong-Kinda expensive for a single bar of soapI love the scent of lavender which is precisely what drew me to this product. Unfortunately, the most important quality of a soap (scent), is not up to par. I wish it was stronger, because the convenience of being on a rope is quite nice. Not sure that I would purchase this particular bar again though.
