rOtring Rapid Pro Mechanical Pencil, 0.7mm, Silver

Upon grasping the pencil in my hand, I was pleasantly surprised by the weight which, in my opinion, feels just right. It has a good balance to it. I almost cannot tell if it is bottom-heavy or top-heavy.The knurling on the grip is neither too fine nor too coarse for my taste. It is grippy enough without feeling like a file against your fingers. Although, if you are prone to having sweaty palms(or feel that the knurling is not coarse enough for you), you might like the knurling on the rOtring 600 which has the only downside of having a non-retractable tip that renders it less pocket-friendly and more prone to breakage on the sleeve when dropped.The lead advance is quite granular i.e., 10 clicks of the push button gives you about 0.6 cm of lead on an average which, in my opinion, is perfect. The clicking mechanism is satisfactorily sure-sounding.All in all, considering that the Rapid Pro has a retractable tip and is an all metal construction (inner working components being brass, if I am not mistaken), this is a great mechanical pencil for everyday use. Also, the pencil looks stately in the matte-black colour.

I have been using this pencil for over two years now, it looks great, feels great, writes great. It is a bit on the heavier side but will not offset you, so do not let the weight dissuade you. Read no further go for it and you will not regert buying it.

The media could not be loaded. I have used lots of pentel and staedler pencils before but ROTRING RAPID PRO/ROTRING 600 IS THE BEST and this statement is gonna remain universal untill the end of time. We cannot compare this with the other products. Very good grip and finish. Only thing is high pricing.

Great pencil.. I mean it. I got the 2mm one. Thought there would be an eraser at the top.. but there isn’t. Hence reduced a star.. the pencil in itself is a 5 star..

A fine drawing instrument. There could be many brands that manufacture mechanical drafting pencils that look similar to the Rotring mechanical pencils, believe me, I have them too. But on the first touch, you can tell why Rotring has such a reputation.

Ive been searching for a pencil that I can use and flaunt at the same time. This is it. It has a sharper at the tip. Very sturdy. Very Comfortable to write with.

El porta minas o lapicero tenias mis dudas en comprarlo por las reseñas que la parte del aro rojo es plástico y se podría trozar en 2, ahora que lo tengo en mano puedo decir 2 cosas el producto en mano es genial y no se siente nada frágil al usarlo. Lo uso principalmente para tomar notas.Tenia mis dudas porque no trae indicador de grado de dureza de la mina y por los comentarios o reseñas que había visto.Definitivamente es un gran producto, muy comodo para escritura, el grosor del agarre es intermedio entre un Pentel Graphgear 1000 y el Rotring 600, el pentel no lo siento tan comodo para escribir como este Rapid Pro, también tengo Staedtler, pero definitivamente me quedo con el Rotring por comodidad, además en mano se siente muy premium casi igual que el Rotring 800.Tal vez la comodidad sea algo relativo para cada persona, si eres de los que el grosor de un lápiz normal es comodo para escribir, entonces la marca rotring sera lo ideal, pero si te gusto algo mas grueso, un pentel o un staedtler sera la mejor opción.Por ultimo este Rapid Pro es pesado, tan pesado como un Rotring 800 o 600 esos 2 son los mas pesados que he tenido.Lo compre en 480 pesos, creo que es un excelente precio para compra.

This lead holder is probably one of the best lead/mechanical pencil I’ve own. The weight is good and feels nice in your hands. The grip feels nice when drawing and for extended use. I bought the black pencil and love the look of it. I know it’s a little pricey but the quality is amazing and you won’t have to keep buying cheaper lead holders and mechanical pencils that will add up to one of these. I love there are two ways to release the lead. One you can just hold down on the top and you the lead will be free to adjust to your liking. The other way is by just clicking on the top, it will gradually release a little bit of lead at a time. The top is also a sharpener if you are in a bind. I use a third party sharpener but the top sharpens and does its job. Overall a great product and if I could, I would purchase all the colors

13 Kasım 2015'te Rotring Rapid 600 amıştım. çok güzel kalemdi ama yere düşme sonucu ucu bükülmüş, içindeki uçları kırmaya başlamıştı. Yine de o şekilde kullandım ama beli bir zaman sonra kayboldu. Yıllar sonra Rapid Pro modeline yöneldim çünkü ucu içine girebiliyor, düşsede uzun yıllar kullanılmasını sağlıyordu. İlginçtir onu da 13 kasım 2022 yılında aldım. Hala kullanıyorum. Umarım kaybolmaz :)

Simply the best mechanical pencil ive ever owned. While it is pricey for a pencil, it has a full metal body whcihnis comfortable to hold, not too heavy.I like how there is a spring for dampening the pressure if you apply too pressure, this prevents the lead from breaking which is something that happens alot from otjer pencils ive owned
