Rio Mini 180 Internal Power Filter for Aquarium

Tiny but powerful and dead quiet!I have it in my office Betta tank. I sit right next to the tank and can’t hear a sound.My only complaint is the power cord seems really beefy for such a small thing? Very happy otherwise,

The media could not be loaded. Performance✔️Easy installation✔️Size- perfect✔️Noise- NOT QUIET!!!!Regardless of taking it apart and putting it back together, it made NO difference in the humming.

First, let me say that this works great so far. Granted I just recieved it today, 2/26/18. Now to the reason i only gave it 4 stars.I bought this for my betta. He is in a 10 gal tank, and its a bit of a pain to redo the entire tank every week. I wanted a filter that had adjustable flow since bettas dont like lots of current. This filter has a silver sticker on the front, and my betta has discovered that he has a reflection in it and he tries to attack himself. While its fun to watch, I dont want him to do that all day.The instructions in the box are a joke. They are difficult to read, and understand. Not to mention the super tiny, thin, light gray type.Other than that it seems to be a good little filter, it does have some noise but it isnt super loud unless you turn it way down, and even then it isnt terribly noisy.Update 4/8/19 just went to do a partial water change, and realized it has died some time in the last 2 weeks. That being said i changed my 4 stars to 1 star as it lasted a year and a month ish.

We are currently using this filter in our outdoor pond and it is doing an amazing job of keeping the water clean. We have used several other filters recently and this is the first one that moves the water around and does not redistribute the algae/particles back in to the water. I would absolutely recommend this filter to others.

I bought this as a secondary filter for a 30 gallon, but ended up using it in my 10 gallon quarantine tank. The flow is way to high there, but this filter has a very easy to use flow adjuster. Unfortunately, setting the flow to a comfortable level for the betta currently living there has caused a mildly annoying buzzing noise.

I kind of expected it to be a little bigger. I suppose you get what you pay for. It does seem to move a good bit of water though.

Great little filter for my Fluval Ebi shrimp tank. I really like that you can add your own media and it has a good input/output ratio for a small aquarium.

Small but effective. Ideal for tight places and powerful enough to make outstanding circulation.
