L27PB Mason Jar Oil Lamp Burner, Antique Brass

So I am looking for ways to reduce how much electricity I use, and I researched options to replace lamps. One option is using oil lamps. However, the brightest oil lamps are rather expensive for my budget, and I wasn't sure that they would give off enough light. But then I found a budget-friendly way to create an oil lamp with a mason jar, a glass cover, and this burner. This would allow me to give oil lamps a try without spending a lot of money. The good news: my project came together well. I now have a mason jar oil lamp that is both functional and beautiful. It does provide enough light to read by (although not as much as an electric lamp), and it also emits a bit of warmth. I also added some pumpkin spice potpourri to the oil in the lamp, which makes it look very festive and adds a nice scent as the oil burns. Very nice.

Works just fine I have no problems with this product is there a better one out there probably. the wick moves just fine up or down don't listen to some of these negative reviews most likely they expect I $50 dollar product from a $17 dollar lamp burner. does the job its intended to do!

Nice, inexpensive way to convert a mason jar into an oil lamp. I added a glass shade and it's easy to move around, unlike larger oil lamps.

Direct screw on fit. Fitted on a little preservatives mason jar. Probably gonna buy two more

It says "polished antique brass" but mine seem to have some sort of film on it that wouldn't polish off. I don't think it was suppose to look like that. Maybe it has been sitting too long in the plastic but I would have expected it to be shinier and it wasn't at all. The only reason I bought it was because it fits over a mason jar but for the price I was expecting a bit nicer quality since the ones I have bought here at a regular store (that aren't for mason jars) are only about less than $5.00. But it did ship quickly which is always good but the small piece that hooks onto the burner that holds the wick was loose when it arrived and I had to get it back on, which means it wasn't tight to begin with and also to me the wick is too short considering it will be in a jar. It should touch the bottom of the jar like all my oil lamps. I'm a collector o oil lamps. Their wicks touch the bottom of the glass. But it is a decent burner... just not quite worth the price..in my opinion...but I realize they have to make money and amazon gets some of it.

This converts a mason jar into a oil lamp. Great idea. A 7/8 cord fits this just fine. The 3 inch globrite chimney fits almost perfectly. Maybe I needto tighten to side clamps a little but the chimney jiggled just a bit. It will not fit a widemouth mason jar, and I juggest the original size jars. The smaller ones make ittop heavy and just dont have the weight to make it feel sturdy.

This product tworks great. You will need some kind of chimney.
