I guess they are ok but....
So the plugs are just as described but I don't know that I would use them again. It is not a perfect fit and there are some gaps that may or may not bother you. If they are not visible and you don't need to finish them then fine, but then why use them? If you will want to finish them with putty or something then it's another job. I finished them with 1)sawdust and glue and 2)color changing wood filler. I got a nice smooth finish in both cases but I was using a milk paint and it didn't stick to the sawdust and glue and the color changing wood filler turned purple with each coat. Maybe an oil or latex paint would be fine. Some use Bondo to finish. YMMV. Do the experiment first. I may just use other attachment methods in the future to avoid the problem and save extra work.

Important tip - install these and then sand them down to fit BEFORE doing your finishing work
I built a canopy bed and used only the kreg jig system to put it together. I was waiting for these to arrive, and i didnt want to hold off on building the bed, so I went ahead and stained/polyd my bed pieces and built the bed. These arrived and then i stained and polyd them to match and some fit perfectly, but I had more than 60 to fill and several didnt fit PERFECTLY because of my drilling being a mm or so off, or a screw being a mm out to far etc. if your hole is perfect, these will fit perfectly and be virtually invisible, but if you are off by even a mm, these are going to be off.. and it's easy for something to happen and the hole be off slightly. there would have been no issue if i had installed them first and then sanded the whole piece down, before finishing everything. they would have been invisible. Thankfully my wood is really dark, so the ones that protrude a bit are still hard to notice at first glance. They are great and the KREG system is brilliant so i give it 5 stars. I will use them again, but I'll know next time to be patient and wait to get everything installed before staining/polying/painting.

A must for your pocket hole projects.
It may just be me, but I recall these being longer in the past. It seems I recall having to come back and cut off the end of these to get them flush with the surface of the wood. The ones I received this time will actually countersink if you aren’t careful. They also used to be a larger diameter and I sometimes had to struggle to get them seated in the hole. The ones I received this time fit perfectly! All in all I think these are improvements over the older ones.

Fit easily
Kreg makes great products. Given their reputation for quality, I opted to purchase the Kreg brand, even though they are a bit more expensive because of their reputation. Glad I did, I had to fill about 30 pocket screw holes on the play table & chairs and I built for her. Squirt some wood glue, slide/press in the wood plug, let it dry, lightly sand, and you have a nice smooth finished product -- Paint or stain and you are done.

I use a ton of these and did a lot of research to make sure I would have consistent fitting. Tried another brand ONCE and even considered making my own due to how many I use but no way! expensive compared to others
Pegs work as they should and bought Kregg to compliment the rig I bought however It might seem petty but these were displayed in a neat plastic box which are easy to store in my workshop but came just in a cheap bag. The oak ones I ordered at the same time came in the displayed box as advertised. Supply what you advertise!

Compre algunas herramientas de Kreg y no me arrepiento, son fabulosas, fáciles de usar y ahorran mucho trabajo. Compre estos tapones para terminar dos gabinetes que hice con el Kreg Jig R3 y no decepcionan. Si estas trabajando con pino y necesitas tapar los pocket holes que hiciste con el Jig R3 son perfectos, solo recomiendo que también compres un serrucho japones para poder cortar los tapones y queden al ras, así podrás lijarlos fácilmente y todo quedara oculto y limpio en tu mueble.

NOT designed for stock over 1 1/4" thick
Bought 2 box of 50 of the pine variety, I am disapointed to learn from Kreg customer support they're not designed to fit in stock over 1 1/4" thick.I tried using them on 2x6 that were actually 1 5/8 thick and they slide in past flush level (useless). I have to be really careful to let them stick out slightly, then sanding them flush.

A fast way to finish up your pocket hole projects
Great plugs for filling in pocket holes in visible areas. Just apply some glue, push it in, and then trim & sand level after the glue has dried. I've found the fit is good enough that I've never needed any filler for a painted finish.

Die Plugs passen ganz gut in die Sacklöcher. Durchmesser ist ~ 9,5mm und hat genügend Luft im Sackloch das man die eingekeilten Plugs von Hand in die Sacklöcher stecken kann.Die Plugs sind gut verarbeitet und maßhaltig.
