Scar Treat Adhesive Gel Sheet for Scars - 12 x 6 cm

I had a surgical scar on my back and started using the Scar Treat silicone sheet, 3 weeks after the removal of the stitches. It is the best best silicone sheet available in India. I bought a 15X3 cm sheet and cut it into three pieces accordingly the size of my scar. Each piece will provide adhesiveness for 18-21 days. I am definitely getting the positive results. It will not fade the scar away but will definitely make it flat and least visible. It is a must have product for scars mainly due to stitches. I recommend to buy it without any hesitation. Full guidance of use according to me is pointed below :1. Cut the sheet accordingly, a little more in both length and breadth of the scar size.2. (Wash the scar with mild soap and water before each application of the sheet.)Peel of the sheet and place it with the adhesive side facing on the scar.Do not apply any cream or ointment below the sheet.3. Leave it in place for the rest of the day.4. Remove it the next day before bathing. Wash both sides of the sheet thoroughly using mild soap andwater. (NOTE: It may seem that the sheet is losing its adhesivness and coming off within 3 days ofapplication. But washing is the KEY. Washing the sheet each day increases its adhesiveness andlife for approximately 3 weeks.)5. Wash the scar properly before reapplication of the sheet (NOTE: Don't forget to dry the sheet fully withnon-fluffy towel before reapplying. )6. Repeat the procedure from step 3 for the next three months to achieve best results.Thank you.

I bought this product twice thinking it will give good results. The first gel sheet which I bought lost its gel/ stickiness in 2-3 days then bought another gel sheet thinking i didn’t use the first one properly. But the same thing happened with the second one, the gel got over after using it 2-3 times only. Worst product ever please dont waste your money.

The gel sheet size was proper, and the new glue was good, It is comparatively cheaper than similar products but the product itself is way too costly for their use and benefits. After one month of use, the stickiness of the adhesive was gone. Even when I applied heat from the hair dryer but not it did not stick to the skin and became infectious. So in humid weather, you can use it for 1-2 months and in dry weather 2-3 months max. The adhesive must last at least 9-12 months.

I have raised keloids (2 big ones and 1 small) on my chest, from acne scars, and they've been there since 6 years now. Over time, my keloids have increased. They also tend to be itchy in humid climates. I have suffered a lot until a doctor recommended trying silicon gel sheets to get them to flatten or at least not flare up more. I cannot thank that doctor enough, because these scar sheets are actually awesome. This particular product is by far the best I've come across, in terms of adhesion (even thought I have reused/washed them so many times) - it still sticks like new! Go for it. Don't think too much about it. Now, I can see my keloids have become less red/inflamed and I hope with continuous use, they also flatten. I am not expecting miracles as my keloids are very old. But one word of advice: use these sheets as daily as possible. I use them all day long, then wash them when I come home from work, let them dry, and then re-wear them before bed. So that the keloids are "curing" even during my 7-8 hours of sleep.

I have been using gel sheet since 2years for my keloid treatment , initially gel sheet was more sticky and 3-4 days , now sheets are not that much quality and sticky , entire sheet is not even coming for 2-3days

I buyed it for keloid and it worked on my keloid (caused due to accident)just in 1 week i can see visible results.it have been 3weeks now adhesive is good enough.But u have to use it atleast 5-6 months then only the result will be perfect.i am going to buy another one to check on my 3years old keloid.Go with it if ur scar is just 1 or 2 months old.Review after 1yearMy keloid almost gone there is no raised scar any more, but one more keloid has not yet completely gone will be using more 6 months and update

A couple of years ago, I had a dispute with a ladder and ended up with a gash on my forehead that required eleven stitches. These sheets helped quite a bit more than I actually expected that they would. They were reasonably priced, but the reason I didn't give five stars is because they don't always stay on as well as they could. Sohad to use a bandage and yes, it solved the problem. I definitely saw improvement in the scar, so I was really happy that I'd tried them.
