Q: is there a way to plug this camera into car power to be use continues?

I am using it now just like that as a dash cam. Works great. Driving at night works fine as well. If it is very dark (no city lights) your head-lights will provide good enough lighting. You'll see the lines on the road ahead recorded. If there are street lights as in a city, it is bright. I find the exposure at night very good. I have a Hero3 Black + which I do NOT use as a dash cam (street lights cause flare). The entry level Hero is better at controlling flare than the Black +. If for some reason someone steals the Hero, it is only $129. My Hero3 Black + is close to $400. I don't leave this in the car. I set up like in the following video. Q: can somebody say something about the audio capture? is it good? thx

The audio capture is very good. Just a tip, if you are recording at a concert, use the waterproof door. It muffles the extra bass and actually sounds pretty good, when the skeleton door will let the audio get distorted since it's so loud.

Q: I video dance routines with a lot of lateral traveling. How wide is the picture? I'm overreaching my iPad capabilities.

Just used mine for the first time to record hockey practice. Its wide angle-much more so than camera or iPad/phone.

Q: How long can it record? Does it depend on the size of memory card?

I seem to get around 4 hours of continuous shooting on a single battery charge. So the battery will die long before you run out of memory (if you're using, say, a 16 or 32 GB card).
