SABIAN 18" HHX Evolution O-Zone Crash, Brilliant Finish

I love this cymbal. It is not very heavy or very light either. It has some shimmer and a sort of long sustain and fits volume wise with my other evolution HHX’s. I would say more dark than bright.

I like this cymbal very much. I'm using it in almost all my gigs now. Keep in mind this is a very thin cymbal, so I really don't know if it would stand some heavy playing, I bet not. But If you're playing some acoustic music ( medium to low volume) this cymbal can bring a very different sound to you. It's very dark, somewhat gong-like, and with a light touch you can bring up the full sound of it. It was developed with the amazing Dave Weckl, and the cymbal has his signature under the bell. A nice touch. I think if you're not a heavy-handed drummer, and want a darker different sound to your setup, get this cymbal. It's great! BTW, my first Sabian.

Ever since I heard my favorite drummers Rex Hardy Jr., Antrun Sherrills, & Calvin Rodgers playin' it; I knew that I wanted this cymbal so bad. To me it's just perfect for Gospel & R&B (contemporary music)

Very nice splash, if not hit too hard it will deliver a crispy tone, a perfect combination with the 8 inch splash from Evolution as well.

i was at my local drum store (local isnt a 22 minute drive but ok) and i was checking out splashes. My final decision came down between this one and the B8 10" one. It was a hard decision. Ultimately, this the greatest sounding splash you'll ever hear, but it doesnt cut through the music i play as much as the B8 one, so i went with the B8 one. If i ever get a second splash though, this one would definetly be the one. No questions asked. If you play jazz or softer music than rock, this is the splash for you.

Received the wrong cymbal. Got a sabian sbr instead
