Three units are easy to fit and in the UK just require two additional Speedfit (or similar manufacturer) 15 mm to 1/2 inch female connectors, where fitting to a UK domestic plumbing system. This extra cost is about £5.Unfortunately the solenoid valve failed within days. It gets quite hot when on for long periods (50 degrees c) but the manufacturer says the solenoid is designed to take this. The problem was leakage from the valve. I went to Digiten Customer Services directly (by email, address is on the instruction car) and after carrying out their requested checks and reporting back to them, they sent me a new one. More recently the flow unit sensor stopped working (no digital movement of the display when water flowing). Again I ran through their checks and when reported, they sent me a replacement. In this case the flow unit had leaked water into the electronics causing corrosion to the flow sensor. My unit is back and working in June 2021 and Digiten have been very good with their customer service response. It is the quality of their units ( the components in the fluid line - the solenoid and the flow sensor) that is called into question and I have asked them to note this. They have responded positively on this. I bought this unit as I need to know how much water is being consumed in a Stables next to out house, which is connected to our domestic water supply. AS we now have to pay £3.16 per m3 of water drawn this is significant as the stables uses quite a lot of water. I can now "re-charge" them for the water they use. The other useful feature of this system is the shut off facility. The unit can be programmed to shut off water supply at a specific volume up to 9.999 m3. AS the stable sometimes forgets to switch of the supply to the troughs in the field, we are all protected against waste of large amounts of water through this feature. Overall the unit is good and I'd recommend it, subject to the downside of having a lot of fiddling about with the failing components. Fortunately, I have the time and interest to do this!

I bought this to fill a hot tub. Takes 3 hours to fill, so want to avoid having to keep checking on progress.Simple to install, and just set how many litres then hit start. Absolutely great!I bought a waterproof enclosure from B&Q, and now the hose has a simple controller, all waterproof and safe - see photo.Other reviewers have commented on leaky fittings. I learned from them - thanks - and used loads of plumbers tape, and as a result not a drip or drip to be seen!! I needed quite a few hose lock connectors - which I bought on Amazon in a set £8.99 I think), and all good!Very happy with this!

This digital flow meter works extremely well once it is calibrated. To do this, adjust as per the instructions and weigh the water ie 5L = 5kg adjusting until it's correct. A very good product.
