Fell in love with it !!! Not just cause of being a phantom of the opera fan, but the quality is just beautiful, every detail and color. Size appropriate to put out in your house hold or even give as a gift. Exceptional for the value for it. For me the detail of adding the lullaby song was the best detail overall.

This precious music box sits on my piano now with my Wicked music box globe - the detail is impeccable - the music box superb. Anyone who knows and loves Phantom WILL love this (and yes Phantom does make me cry - every time - and I have seen it many times). NOW I have a remembrance of Andrew Lloyd Weber's Phantom. Of course as anyone would know, it is smaller in size than the stage prop - that is not an issue.... listen as the monkey moves the cymbals and Masquerade issues forth. San Francisco Music Box Company has created a treasure. Remember! Night belongs to Phantom!

This music box was bigger than I expected. The arm movement is smooth and the sound is good quality.My wife loves "Phantom of the Opera", so I purchased this item as a gift for my wife. She loved it and it now sits on her desk so she can see it and play it all the time. I definitely recommend it for someone who loves "Phantom of the Opera" or music boxes in general.

The item came in a nice Phantom box Perfect since I was giving this as a gift. I had wanted to purchase the jewelry box version, but it was so much pricier. This is exactly the same thing with only a few differences.1. It's smaller.2. It doesn't have a container or drawer. It's simply an animated music box.3. You wind it from the bottom versus a crank on the side.It has a nice weight and is a quality piece. Everything functions perfectly. The shipping was very speedy and my wife loved it. I look forward to purchasing the actual jewelry box version in the future.I do have one concern. I was not aware that this item has been made in a variety of versions since the musical first came out. Overall, they all look the same with the exception of the Phantom logo on the side of the box. Depending on when it was made, you will get different versions of the logo. The version I received was manufactured in 1986. No complaints here, just need to be careful when purchasing in the future if my wife ends up collecting these.Will definitely be purchasing from this seller again.

The media could not be loaded. My sister is a giant POTO fan, and one of her favorite parts of the movie and musical is the music box, so when I saw this, I had to get it! While it is not an exact replica, she was so happy that she cried when she opened it! Also, it looks great on our bookshelf! It arrived the day after I ordered it, and when I had to return it because the monkey was not moving its arms properly, it shipped the same day, and my sister had it the following day. I would definitely recommend buying this music box!!

Love life monkeys, but am not into model ones, but this particular one based on The Phantom of the Opera; my all-time favourite play, is unique n oh so Very special.He traveled all the way from the States to my hometown in the UK n, b'cs he was snuggly wrapped up warm n tight, he arrived safely happy.
