The fit was great. The installation was simple and the box is solid and secure. Be aware that the key can only be removed if the box is locked. While this is a great security feature it renders access to the box useless while key is on my key ring and in the ignition.

Simple, quick locking storage that's easy for quickly locking something down but you'd like access to it readily. Less expensive than others but provides a higher level security than others with just a lid. Security not on the level with a secure glove box but still good for ease of use.

So this fits perfectly into the arm rest cubby area in my 2013 wrangler. Super sturdy and would be crazy hard to remove if it’s securely locked since it secures into place with screws through the inside of the box. Was a tad hard to install cuz you have to drill holes in the plastic from inside the cubby to secure it but my drill didn’t fit in the cubby so it had to be angled weird but worked out fine. Also should note, if you use your usb charger that is inside the cubby, make certain you check that line up before putting those screws in. I did but due to the angle at which we had to shoot the screws in, the box got pushed down further then I couldn’t use the usb. Redid it, with cardboard underneath so it couldn’t get pushed too far down then realized it was like 3 mm too high and the arm rest wouldn’t close. Third time was the charm and it’s worked great since. Handy little spot to secure your valuables.

Fits my 2018 JK Rubicon Recon perfectly. Installed without any hassle, although it only has 2 mounting holes at the upper rear. I added an additional hole at the bottom front of the vault, and installed threaded grommets in the console that the screws mounted into for a more secure installation. I moved the USB port to the outside of the console just under the armrest latch to allow access without opening the vault by using this flush-mount USB adapter: Cerrxian USB 3.0 Flush Mount Cable, 1m USB Type A 3.0 Male to Female Flush Dash Panel Mount Extension Cable for Car Truck Boat Motorcycle Dashboard (3.2ft). I also lined the entire inside of the vault with black felt to prevent scratching of stored items and rattling when driving, and replaced the lock with a high-security Medeco cam lock which is keyed the same as my weapons vault at home. The lock that came factory seemed fine, but I just wanted to guarantee security and reduce the amount of keys on my keychain.

This thing is a huge pain to install. You need to drill pilot holes in order to start the screws. Seems simple enough, but there is no way my drill fits in the console to do that. I had to drill holes at a slight angle to get the screws started. After fighting with them for longer than I should have needed to, I got them in. If you can get past the very frustrating install, it's a pretty good product. It is a decent gauge of steel and fits tight. It would take a good bit of effort and more time than most thieves would want to spend to get it out. There just isn't a good way to get leverage on it to pry it out. I am quite pleased with the security.I'm not sure about the USB port or power port as I don't use either. If it weren't for the crappy install, I would have given 5 stars,

Very strong. Fits perfect - simple to install with two self tapping screws. I purchased it used from amazon for more than half price? Item was perfect. Installed in a minute. Someone would need to remove the console to get the contents, not impossible but much more secure than the stock locking console.

My key failed to open the lock after about 2 years. Lock had been difficult to open a few times and then just seized up. However, I was able to open the top door of the lock box in about 30 seconds with a screwdriver and hammer - did not make me feel good after all the times I left valuables in there... Would not recommend.

Love the product and ease of installation BUT the lid will NOT close when USB port is being used. You have to unplug everything to get the lid to close all the way.
