I purchased 2 of these crossing signs for my layout, They came painted black, so I repainted them silver as per prototype signs. I have installed them on my layout, but currently not completely wired to a switch and not working. The blinking speed can be adjusted on the attached circiut board. The installation instructions are simple and easy to read. I am very satisfied with the looks of these signs and they should work well on my layout. I would recommend this/these crossing sign/lights to anyone who is in need of them for a railroad crossing

Works excellent really adds to the dual railroad crossing ! Very pleased simple to hook up no extras to order like so many of these lights require you to do !!!!

The two red wires coming out of the sign unit are fine as hairs. They do not hold in the wire clamps of the circuit board. You only way I see that you can wire this unit up is to solder heavier wire onto them, but first you have to strip them longer. This is an incredibly delicate operation. Unless you happen to be a brain surgeon with an electronics hobby I suggest you don't buy this unit. Too bad because it's really cute once you get it wired. It caused me a lot of grief, and I am a pretty good handy person. Zero stars!!!
