works well
clamped multiple cutting boards together and cranked very tight. No issues.

Well worth the price.
Good price, well made and work. I priced the 48" wood clamps at Home Depot, and they were $80 each!

Not "name brand" but pretty good
I am an amateur woodworker who sometimes builds cabinets and furniture. I needed more stout clamps than the F clamps I had. I needed longer clamps than the F clamps I had. I needed more clamping power than the ratchet clamps and F clamps to wrangle strips of dimensional lumber into flat straight glued planks.I bought 8 name brand 3/4 inch pipe clamps and pipe locally. They worked great. I needed more though, so for less than half what I spent on name brand I ordered 8 of these clamps. The colors are different, who cares. The screws are chrome instead of some high tech stuff, no big deal. Clamping power is near identical. So why only 4 stars? The threads for the pipe are less than satisfactory. I have had to swab every clamp with a wire brush before the pipe threads would even engage. I also had to massage the sides with a mallettoget the pipe to thread most of the way in. After a couple assembly/disassembly cycles the clamps function acceptably well. Will I buy more if I need more? Yes, probably. The price for performance is excellent, with the fit being annoying but easy to overcome. I have chosen 3/4 inch pipe so I have enough of a starting stock of pipe that changing sizes would be an unnecessary expense.

It's value-for-the-dollar here...
I bought two sets of these clamps, and while they aren't "Jorgensons", they do the job just fine for my small hand tool shop. A few arrived assembled 'backwards' but once I figured that out, no problems. They are just a bit 'sloppy' and the screws appear to be Acme threads... and they're close enough for the kind of work I do. I want to stress that the price CANNOT BE BEAT ANYWHERE!! Especially in these times of exhorbitant prices, it's the way to go for small makers and shops on a tight budget. I'd buy another set again if I needed more clamps, for sure. Functional but could be better.
These are my first pipe clamps and I've done one glue up so far. I noticed right away that 2 out of 4 of my clamps have a smooth operation when I go to tighten them. The other two will not drive smoothly and bind on every turn. They still close and provide pressure but could be easier to use.

Just what I needed
I have over a dozen of these claps. Work great just needs the pipe.
