Fintie Silicone Cover for Google Nest Doorbell (Wired, 1st / 2nd gen), Black

I've got 2 Nest hello's and wanted a cover for them, so I bought the Fintie brand based on the reviews. I bought just one to start to see if I would like it. It extremely easy to install and looks good. The little hood that it has does show up when viewing, but just ever so slightly in the very top right and left corners, which doesn't bother me at all. As far as the durability, I don't know yet. It does not interfere with night vision due to the front being completely open, like other brands that are full coverage. It fits fairly tight, but could be a little more snug. That's about all I can say about it. It seems like a good product and would recommend it .

Had trim one side to fit in between the brick and siding of the house , but it fits like a glove.

Ok, maybe not ALL of my life, but definitely the portion of it from the time we installed new outdoor lights and last night when we installed this cover!As you might be able to see, the new lights rendered our camera fairly worthless at night, but the cover cleared it up with no effort whatsoever.Beyond easy to install, inexpensive, and sure to last for years. If you’re on the fence about it, rest assured it’s worth the money.

Purchased to protect camera from the elements. Found an unanticipated benefit. Security night lighting caused picture to wash out and appear black and white. Now with cover installed with top hood the image looks brilliant in color! Awesome product! Highly recommend.

I bought this for a few reasons. One, it was cheap. Two, I figured it would help protect the camera from eventual weather-wear. The product is simple, it's just a silicone rubber cover for the camera. It doesn't cover up anything that shouldn't be covered. It was simple to install, just slipping it over the camera while it was still mounted. However, I found that it fits kind of loose. I'm not sure if this is because the bottom wasn't able to fully seat due to it being mounted...but you can't install it while it's unmounted...so I'm not sure how to fix this. Otherwise, it is only loose by a few millimeters and does not effect the day-to-day use. It does have a sun/weather shield at the top edge (not needed as mine sits under a covered porch) that does show up in the top left and right corners of the view...but only a tiny bit.

I purchased this to reduce glare from the light above my front door and evening sun. The small lip on top of this cover works great and there’s no more glare and reduced video contrast. Installation was easy and took just a few seconds, it pops right on with no need to remove the doorbell from its mount. I also like that the matte black cover makes the video feature of the doorbell a bit less obvious since it sort of just looks like a generic black doorbell now.

This was the fastest install I have had of anything for a long time! This simply slips right over the entire Nest Hello and has the correct cut outs - there is no silicone covering anything on the face of the doorbell so the night vision is left intact. As one other reviewer pointed out, the top corners of the video have a small dark spot on each corner, but in my application, does not interfere at all with what can/can't be seen - and it's only because of the visor...but I appreciate that visor for it's protective qualities. I would purchase this again if ever needed. I will update my review if necessary. It has been on for over a week now.
