5 Original Albums Vol.1

This package comes with five CDs housed in mini replicas of the original album releases. The releases include: Images at Twilight (1979),Heads or Tales (1983), Behavior (1985), Wildest Dreams (1987), & How Do I Look (1997).There is another similar release that has their early releases... which didn't include IMAGES AT TWILIGHT. This package seems to rectify that omission by including it. IMAGES is more progressive that the other three studio releases. (HOW DO I LOOK is a collection/compilation.). The others are more 80s pop influenced releases. There are glimpses of great technique here and there. HEADS OR TALES was an interesting one... I felt it didn't live up to WORLDS APART, but has some strong songs. BEHAVIOUR and WILDEST DREAMS are very very pop. The HOW DO I LOOK compilation leans to pop, but does include the studio version of ON THE LOOSE and a live version of WIND HIM UP... which casual fans will love.The band is really good... really talented. One of the CDs is produced by Keith Olsen. It was a great sounding disc, but I was surprised to find it DIDNT sound like a typical Olsen release... SAGA must have exerted pressure to keep it sounding like themselves. Another release was produced by the talented Rupert Hine.If you're new to SAGA... this is a more poppy glimpse into the band. If you dig their proggy music... get the package that houses their earlier releases.Either way... highly recommended!

These albums from Saga are really good. Sound on these cd's is great. Behaviour is worth the price alone. Recommended!
