A Unique Model and a Interesting Build
There are very few full scale biplanes with twin engines and even fewer models of this type. Like most DeHavillands, this plane has class. For the ARF generation this will be a challenge but for those of us with more flying models in our hangars than we can fly every week, this Dumas kit presents many hours of enjoyment in the construction. Several build threads can be found in RC groups for those needing hand holding. The included instructions, however, are quite detailed. The parts list is very extensive and of excellent quality. These plans need to be well studied and the caution to build "Light" will result in a good flying model. I'm using RimFire 250 motors (20 g ea), D47 servos (4.7 g), etc. Response to a construction question to Dumas was answered the same day! On the difficult tail feather outlines I laminated four 1/32 balsa strips to achieve the tight bends. Good luck and enjoy the project!

Difficult but Beautiful Kit
Lovely kit. I've been quite a few Dumas kits, including a few Paul Tritle designs (as this one is). I would consider this an advanced kit, as you will be required to do the following:* Bow laminated balsa* Assemble six piece vacuum formed structures on each wing* Install wing and tail rigging (not for looks!)* Put together a dual electric motor setup* Follow a lot of text instructions without pictures (a Dumas hallmark)! The biggest challenge for me was the cowl/nacelle structures - be careful how you build the wing there, and take your time. Mine turned out ok, but I could do better if I had another chance.I haven't flown mine yet. Looks like it will be about 12 oz all up. I covered in document laminating film and painted it. Definitely heavier than I wanted, but I've got enough power.

Really nice unusual scale antique model I really like the design
When I bought this kit my plan was to fly it with electric motors and inside the kit came with instructions on which motors to use switch stick adapters and transmissions to make the it fly properly the problem is none of the parts that the manufacturer recommended are available from other manufacturers due to this Covid crap and I don’t think I’m gonna be able to get any motors to fit this thing anytime soon so if you want to build it for display purposes go ahead but don’t count on flying it. BP hobbies is out of business and Feigao parts are almost impossible to get with no good substitutions available

Interesting model good and bad.
Nice model but I thought it could have been better. Good die-cut parts but unmarked and some wood was sub par. So I substituted bass wood for the stringers.
