TradMallMini Travel Umbrella, Portable Lightweight Compact Parasol with 95% UV Protection for Sun & Rain

This umbrella is so cute. It's the perfect size for me. It may not be quite as sturdy as other umbrellas I own but I believe it will work really well for me to use for sun protection only. I don't think I'll use it during high winds...I wanted something small and lightweight. Others have stated that they weren't able to re-fold it and get it back into its case. I had no problem folding mine and getting it back into the case (but I'm also an expert at folding fitted sheets so they end up as perfectly flat squares or rectangles...lol). Just use the crease lines of the umbrella as a guide for re-folding and twist the sections together tightly after folding all sections. The velcro fastener will fit around it if you've ended up with a tight tube shape. The umbrella fits nicely in my purse. I'll keep with me all the time during the summer months. I have bought umbrella's from Tradmall before...my last umbrella was my favorite since it was "self closing" and very strong. Unfortunately, I left my favorite umbrella on a train in Berlin whilst traveling so I went to get a new one by them and found this one. It is much lighter and smaller, which is perfect for me to use for when I travel (which is a LOT). It could fit into a purse or backpack and is of good strength and size given its light weight. I am super pleased and it was fun to have it in non-traditional black (though you can get the same umbrella in that color too). UPDATE: I can't tell you how much we love the size of this tiny umbrella...we just came back from a holiday with a girlfriend and she would not give this up the whole time since it was so tiny for her purse and the rain kept coming and going. Can easily fit into the pocket of a coat but it is strong as well. I am very impressed!

I ordered the pink umbrella for my daughter and she loves it. It protects her from the sun and rain. It is a little thinner than other umbrellas we have and it takes a little more effort to open and close, but thats okay for the price. I'm planning to purchase another one for myself.

The size, quality, color and feature are all great. This has a lifetime warranty which gave me a peace of mind. I use this for protecting from sun's UV, not from rain. I am not wearing hats anymore. Even though people might look at me one more time since I am a male when I use this, my use is well justified since I have many sun damage spots on my face after a laser facial treatment. I regret why I have not used enough SPF lotion and hats. This umbrella is the best. Light weight and small size in my hand.Only thing I would wish is this is not auto open, but it will last longer than auto umbrella ( I hope). Overall this is the best purchase recently from AMAZON

Like I said, it’s really light and compact and fits perfectly into my purse. Also it really works in terms of blocking the UV. It actually got bent during a thunderstorm and I contacted to Tradmall customer service (email provided on their card/package), just trying to see whether there’s something they can do. The customer service was very helpful and sent me a replacement for free! And they responded very quickly through email. I’d recommend it to anyone!! I don’t understand why it hasn’t got many reviews...

I am so disappointed in this umbrella. I had bought it for sun protection, and for the first 1 1/2 weeks or so of use, I thought I had finally found a compact one that was well made and would last. It appeared to be wind-resistant and never got blown inside-out from the wind. Then at the end of 2 weeks, it suddenly was got twisted out of shape (see pics). As you can see, some of the spokes became all bent and twisted from being opened and closed. I was not rough on this umbrella, and probably used it a half dozen times in the 2 weeks I had it. It's going back, and I'll keep looking.

Lightweight and compact. But definitely not gonna last very long. Very flimsy. I had to pop out the supports manually a few times. You really have to shove the knob up to get the umbrella to click and stay open. The retractable handle is weak, when I folded it up and carried it by the string, the handle immediately fully extended. The handle wobbles a lot when opened and being carried. And the part that you're supposed to hold is way too small, it's not comfortable to hold at all. But it is very portable and provided great sun protection! And the pink is pretty. When this one breaks, I will not be buying again.

I got this umbrella for an outdoor event in Chicago. I chose this one out of two travel umbrellas I tested ahead of time because it seemed sturdier and was easier to open and close and put back in the storage sleeve. We knew it was going to rain but I like that I was able to get a light blue/silver one that would not get hot in case I needed to use it for shade from the sun.This umbrella is surprisingly sturdy for a travel umbrella but still lightweight. It weathered the off and on heavy rainstorms and strong winds at the event. It has a second cover that is disposable that I saved in case I ever need to stow it temporarily while wet. My kids took the umbrella I used to keep in my car, so I am happy I now have a sturdy compact travel umbrella.
