Fantastic Power Supply!!!
I got this 750W brand new unit at an amazing good price and just finished building my new Ryzen 3900X system with GTX1070 GPU. I looked, and looked, and looked, and ended up with this model Pwr supply with 10 yr warranty. It doesn't get any better than that. This is the second PC that I have built with a Seasonic power supply and I have NEVER had problems with my other Seasonic 650W power supply system. Both my older and this new pwr supply are really quiet and I like it a lot. I am a professional photographer and need really quiet time at night for editing and I'm happy with this product. And no, this Seasonic power supply did NOT blow up my motherboard hahaha! :-)I have no clue what people are doing or why they blame the power supply for "taking out their motherboard". Have they thought about blaming the actual MB itself because perhaps the mother board was bad or had a backward capacitor or something? Did they do an elimination process? How can someone not test each brand new component before hooking everything up to an entire new system?

From someone who prioritizes value and saving as much money as possible: never skimp on a PSU.
I've been a PC enthusiast ever since I was a teenager, and so I know what it's like to operate on a tight budget and find the best "bang for your buck," like many.It was only until a couple years ago that I was able to save up and purchase what was fairly top of the line: 7700k, 1080ti, etc. The only thing I didn't need was a PSU (and peripherals), and so without a doubt in my mind, I reused my TX650 Corsair PSU, one that was from around 2011 (mind you, this PC build was late-2017).Never had an issue whatsoever. Fast forward a few months, and my computer kept restarting randomly, no BSOD, no warning, nothing. Extremely frustrated, I chose to buy a new one.So I decided to buy the Corsair CX750 because, hey, it's the same reliable company (hah) and it's the new and improved version. Well, my computer STILL kept doing the same, exact thing. And I'm saying, man, was it all those power outages that bricked my motherboard, or worse yet, my GPU? The tricky thing was that it ran fine at idle or mild use, but as soon as I cranked a game to max video settings, it would just instantly restart. So I decided to fork over the extra money and go with Seasonic. And I cannot state how much of an improvement this thing has provided for my PC.Make no mistake, no matter how expensive, complex, capable, or touted a PC part can get, it is still the same technology that it was when it was first developed coming up on almost a century ago. And what that is is a current being transmitted through billions and billions of components to allow me to type this very review right now.My computer just feels different. It is faster, it is more responsive, it is snappier, and I can hear all six of my fans operating at their fullest potential. I have no shortage of components:-Audio mixer-2 External 1tb hdds-1 Internal hdd-6 fans-H150i AIO Watercooler-Three fan MSI Duke 1080ti-Bluetooth adapter-Wifi adapter-Iphone charging-2x PG279Q monitors (these things get hot)And I wonder how I ever thought I could skimp out on a PSU. Don't believe the myth that a PSU can't affect performance and is just more expensive because it's more reliable. You want performance AND reliability. Go with Seasonic.

The best mid range PSU
I have been using the Seasonic Focus GX 750 for nearly two months and I am very pleased with the performance. This PSU is very silent with the hybrid mode and the 10 year warranty give me the security that Wil work for many years. Also, the included cables are long enough for almost any case and are pretty durable and have good looks. I am sure that I made a good choice, giving me the chance to upgrade my pc.Currently I am working with a gtx 1080,Ryzen 3700x, 32gb ram, 3 fans, an nvme and a b550.

SUPER quiet! Changing cables are a MUST
I needed another 750W PSU to replace my Corsair that was only two years old and having problems. After hearing nothing but raving about how good Seasonic was, I went for this one. SUPER FREAKING QUIET!!! No, really. You can't even hear it turn on, it's so quiet. Amazing! The instruction booklet was a little vague in that it did not tell you specifically which cables went into which slots...so if you're new to PC building or changing out parts, go watch a video or something. Thankfully, I'm not new, though I still had a couple of problems getting it to function. A couple of things I learned:(1) This includes a tester, which I absolutely love. I read a review or two where they were complaining that you had to hook it up to the computer to test it. This is NOT TRUE. The only thing you need are the new motherboard cable connected to the PSU, the power cable connected to the PSU, and the tester plugged into the end of the cable that normally goes into the motherboard. The booklet instructions are very clear on this.(2) Do NOT fret if the fan briefly spins and then stops when you boot your PC. THIS IS NORMAL. The fan will not spin when the computer is pulling really low power, apparently.(3) Replace EVERY cable in your computer with a cable that comes with the PSU (if available). I am not jesting. Do it. Why? Because I found out the hard way (hours later while breadboarding) my peripherals (a CD and DVD drive) were causing my PC to not boot... They were working just prior to changing out the PSU... but because I didn't change out that one single cable...it kept my system from booting with the new PSU.(4) If you have to troubleshoot, the booklet is not really going to help you much. If you've already checked to ensure all cables are very securely plugged in... Try breadboarding. It's what helped me find my issue.(5) If you're running a PCI-E graphics card (you know, one that isn't built into your motherboard, take the recommendation and use TWO/THREE cables instead of one. The booklet talks about it, and it's really clear on this point. No, really. Do it.Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase thus far. Of course, this is just day one, but it's already much quieter than the Corsair ever was. People were right about Seasonic. Great product!
