No Battery. Incorrect Power Cord
Laptop is excellent condition but came with incorrect power cord and the battery is depleted. While the battery is included, it is NOT at 80% life left, like it is advertised for an Amazon refurbished item. However, when you read ALL of the description, the last area points out that you will need a lithium battery. My laptop came with no battery power - meaning, after trying to charge, it is still depleted. I cannot use it without it being connected to a power source. Yes, I can order a battery from Amazon, and that is exactly what I did. It just would’ve been more helpful for them to explicitly point out the laptop will need a new battery upon purchasing…

Cheap replacement parts used in refurbished causing problems
8 months later, the light on the front is flashing. After a little investigation, and a message on start up, it seems like there is a non OEM replacement battery, it won't charge all of a sudden. Seems likely since the charger is not a Dell product either. Laptop worked very well until the bootleg refurb gremlin showed up.

Not completely refurbished
Did not perform as stated. No keyboard lights work(backlighting or indicators). Makes it frustrating when you don’t know if caps lock is on or not. Other than that it performs well. When I contacted Amazon about the backlighting issue they stated there was nothing they could do since I had already set it up and used it for a week or so.

Worked great about 6 months, then the real problems started.
The 90 day warranty expired right before this computer starring having problems. Firstly, the keyboard stopped working properly, then wifi connectivity issues. I've tried every possible thing and have even done 3 factory resets. Still same problems. The computer is useless with connectivity or a keyboard 😕. I would not from Amazon refurbished again.

Delivered DOA
This laptop was dead on arrival upon delivery. It would not boot. Technically, it would not POST. It was nice and clean, and it had a checklist from the refurbishing. However, the checklist is suspect since it was DOA. I have a refund claim submitted. Although, I am in urgent need of a laptop for my daughter to start college at end of the week. Since I am a computer engineer, I was able to research and fix the complex issue. I now have a working laptop with current BIOS, after updating BIOS myself. The BIOS was very old and was 20 revisions back.

Don't buy sell unless it has round charger input
Do not buy a Dell unless it has a real charger input. This one uses a USB type C for the charger input and failed after 2 months.
