I really want to like this watch but it has important failingsEvery few weeks have to reset watch as display flashes non stop.The red horizontal stripes makes it difficult to tell time at 915, 845, you get the idea.

I liked the watch but the company was very poor

This watch was scheduled to arrive sometime between June 15 & 17, but actually arrived here in the US on Tuesday June 9, six days early. Looks like the seller (Rubicon Watch Company Ltd in England) has perfected Faster-Than-Light international delivery... kudos! Not only that, because this was an international transaction I inquired ahead about any foreseeable hang-ups, VAT, or other problems (on a Saturday no less) and had my answer that Sunday, June 7, California local time.When I couldn't find the download code for the instruction booklet, I had Rubicon's answer by the next day, Wednesday, June 10. Wow.My watch evaluation:This Pulsar chrono is an M-Sport World Rally Limited Edition. I ordered it for the alarm and timer functions more than anything else and was amazed how hard it was to find an alarm watch these days. This chronograph fits the bill admirably for the price and quality and seems simple enough to figure out even without the booklet.Since I've only had this watch for two days now I can't evaluate how durable it is, but it seems very solid, and I'm a long time Seiko and Pulsar owner. I expect no less.This is also my first new watch in about 20 years so I was surprised how large such a watch has grown these days, but so far it doesn't seem a problem so long as I have the functions I need. Weight seems fine, though I will likely look for a black stainless steel bracelet band, with a clam shell safety clasp to make taking it on and off easier and safer.This is definitely a work and not a dress watch, but anyone looking at Pulsar's photo will know that. None the less, I find it understated but reasonably attractive, not flashy or cheap looking. The digital readout is therefore on the quiet side, there if you need it (and at 73 I will need it at times) and large enough to be easily legible, but not overpowering. All in all, a good compromise. The light works quite well enough when needed in the dark without being a likely drain on the battery, but I'll know better after some long-term use.I suspect this chronograph will grow on me.

When watch arrived the backlight illuminating feature didn’t work. Also arrived without complete instructions on how to set the watch . So I went to post office to return it. They don’t pay for return shipping and they should product was defective. Since company is located in Great Britain I had to pay 25.00 shipping fee . Terrible service would never buy anything from this seller again !!!!!!

This watch has all the features I wanted and looks great. My only complaint would be that the instruction in the box were for an analog watch. I had to go on line and search for the correct owners manual.
