Wonderful, perfect, affordable, 100% Merino Wool...
My trip consist of 20 days hiking through the Alps and so I thought to myself, "Well, I'm hiking through the German, Austrian and Italian Alps for 20 days... I need to look fashionable while in Italy, functional while in Germany and meaningful while Austria." Being that I live in a mountainous state, I understand the importance of packing light which can also mean less stuff, so 20 days and 4 tshirts while achieving my minds input... V-neck Merino Wool pulls it off!!!I place the order but wasn't sure about the size, email the company and within minutes I get a reply from an actual manager! Wow, he follows up completely making sure of my needs and that the size was right. He assured me of the exchange policy and was amazingly forthright.I get the order and being new to Merino wool (because in the past I was suckered into the whole Nike/Under Armour/Big Name marketing B.S.) I thought I would REALLY put it to the test! So I pull the shirt out of the bag put it on and went for a hike... 4 hours and very sweaty later, no smelly shirt. Thinking, well it's new, and that's not putting it to the test, not my level of test at least. Take the shirt off put it at the end of the bed and no I wasn't waiting to see if the dog or girl friend would smell it! I got up in the morning and put it right back on and off for a 16 mile hike into the mountains. Get back and straight to the restaurant, yet no body standing next to me, my friends of course, mention that I should change... I inquire, "Doesn't anyone here smell BO?" the stop smell and answer, No, Nope, Nothing and of course the "Why, did you fart?" I thought Woolly Merino Wool shirt this just might be the real deal. However, I'm still not convinced, as those new chemicals these days just might make it last and I don't like that, so onward. Again, putting the shirt at the end of the bed and another night goes by but this time no shower, morning comes and yep put the exact same shirt back on. Out again doing errands around town, cleaning the 4-Runner in the sun which takes me about 3 hours and cleaning up around the yard but nothing hard or too dirty but hot. Evening comes and guess what, no stinky shirt! Thinking, ok let put it to the real test, no shower again, back to bed and up again, at this point I STINK! So really Merino Wool... as I eye the shirt, do you really think you can over come my stinky body now, on goes the shirt and off to a hike I go with the girl friend. 7 miles hiking up and around the mountain, playing with the dog and having not showered in three days and two nights, I am disgustingly dirty and reek, I get home and can't take it... I shower! I ask the girl friend to take a whiff of the shirt and she comments, "Was that the shirt your wore today? Because it barely has any smell to it." WOW!!!So there you have it, Woolly Merino Wool shirts are the real deal! Fashionable, functional, meaningful and providing me with the protection those "other brands" claim to have but only offer you marketing!BUT... what about the comfort!? I was very impressed with the comfort of the shirt. The V isn't low like a undershirt and isn't tight like a regular shirt. It fit just right and offered me the movement I needed. It rare that you find a product that you look at and think, I can thought that on go for a hike, a out with the girl friend and stop by the martini bar all in the same day, in the same shirt and everyone has nothing but positive comments to make! How about the shirt after I washed it, you wonder!? Well, I have to admit that I washed it in delicate and with woolite for the simply reason of the fact that when I find something I like, I take great care of it (Like my 4-Runner!). Post washing, I travelled up north and hiked a 14'er and camped for three days and never changed shirts and it was fine. I wash myself at the stream and with some bio wash, but didn't do anything to the shirt.Any followups? Yeah, so I went forward with ordering two pairs of socks and five pairs of boxers from Woolly for my trip. I will post a review for each under their respective product.Am I pleased? VERY and glad that I purchased the product. It's funny, because I leave in a week (Sept 2nd) for my 36~ days Europe trip, 20 hiking and 10 in Italy as a tourist and 4 Munich for Oktoberfest and a couple in Iceland for the Northern Lights... I gazed into my drawer being HIGHLY selective about my clothing and realizing how much have I spent on those other companies marketing hype! Save your money young ones; buy Merino Wool, support a entrepreneurial company buy Woolly and save your money to go on a trip like I am!!! Don't buy into the whole marketing scam those other companies offering, Polyester is polyester, PERIOD so changing the pattern or lies about adding chemicals are going to change the fact that it's polyester and it sucks (BUT IT REALLY REALLY CHEAP TO MAKE!!!)Closing thoughts, Merino Wool is natural, renewable and if treated right long lasting. I'm very happy that I purchased these shirts and from this company. Please feel free to ask me any questions! Yes, I will post some videos when I get a chance but I don't return from my trip until the second week of October (open ended on the return!).

Great fit! Decent value.
My original review was meant for a different product. I have nothing negative to say about this shirt. Not many wool V necks out there and this fits the best. Wish there were more color options, I already have them all.

Great Shirt
Love the feel and the look; better than a cotton t-shirt

Exceeded my expectations
I have been gradually switching to merino wool underclothes. I have had some undershirts from other makers (it turns out v-necks are hard to find) and these have been by far the best. I am tall, so I was delighted that the shirt comes down to the middle of my butt; many others are just a few inches below my waist so they can easily pull out of my pants. The fabric on these is amazing. It is a bit heavier than the other merino undershirts I have, but it has a very luxurious feel. I couldn't be happier with this product.

Two shirts already have holes just from washing them
**Update 5/6/2023. Woolly eventually refunded my money for the shirts I purchased from them. I still can't recommend these shirts because they are not constructed well and easily fall apart after only very light washing. Updated the review from one star to two stars due to the fact that the company refunded me. I will also say that the holes have gotten bigger and more numerous since I first reviewed these shirts.**Original review:I tried to first contact the company directly about this via email but received zero response. I was completely ghosted. After washing only three times (on a gentle cycle). I noticed a tear in one shirt and two holes in another. I purchased the Everyday v-neck shirts, so they're not the more lightweight ones. I never use the dryer for my wool shirts, as I want them to last (I always hang dry them). If it was just one shirt, I'd think it was maybe a QC issue and so I reached out to Woolly customer service. And while waiting several days for a reply (a reply that never came), I noticed another one of the Woolly shirts also had holes (this one had two holes that appears to be the kind of wear and tear that you'd see on a shirt that is many, many years old). See attached pictures. I will never purchase from this company again.

This shirt doesn't have the refinement of some of the best efforts of the big names in this business
I have bought a lot of merino shirts over the past five years, from Ice Breaker, Ibex, Smartwool, Minus 33, Stoic, Patagonia, and probably from one or two other brands, so I am familiar with what to expect from merino. In my opinion this is 100% merino notwithstanding the doubt expressed by one of the other reviewers. So, I wouldn't worry about that if you're thinking about buying this shirt. This shirt doesn't have the refinement of some of the best efforts of the big names in this business, but it is very nice. It has a better design and cut than I expected for $40 merino. It has a nice medium length hem. In other words, the bottom of the shirt won't pull up past your belt if you raise your arms over your head. For me this is a very very comfortable shirt, with all the usual fine attributes of merino that everybody else can tell you about. One reviewer indicated that this is kind of a "see-through" shirt, and it's true that if a person looks at you closely in good light while you are wearing this shirt, they will probably be able to spy your areolae in shadow. But this is not like lingerie that requires no extra effort on the part of the viewer to ogle your stuff. It's not like a fishnet bikini in Sports Illustrated. When you are wearing this shirt an observer has to look pretty closely to see what you got. If someone is looking at you that closely they probably already like you, so don't worry about it.ThIs shirt is advertised as light-weight, but I think it is probably between light and medium weight. Still it is comfortable in warm weather. If this shirt weren't so reasonably priced I probably would have given it four stars, but as it is it is a good place to start if you have never worn a merino tee-shirt, and if you have worn merino before it's worth checking out for the value and clean design.

Wish they offer some at XS
It's a too big for me but with consistent wash and wear, it will eventually shrink. The wool is substantial and soft. Excellent for a base layer without all them polyester giving me rashes. Well maybe except the stitching but that's life.
