I don't know for certain, but it should. As far as "last long", here is the endurance numbers: Endurance Rating (Lifetime Writes) 7.1PBW. That means that you could writhe tne entire drive approximately 3600 times before wear failure.

Most likely not. Dell tends to "recognize" drives that have their Dell firmware. But it's not that the drive won't work - it will work just fine, but Dell will complain that something is off with the drive - because it's not their firmware. Sorry.
