Works great! I put 3 bags of 40lb sandbox sand into it. I need to add 1 more so that I don’t kick it down. Perfect for Taekwondo.

As a taller man, 6'6". I was struggling to find a bag tall enough. This barely reaches high enough to hit but it does reach most cases. high kicks could go higher with a difference bag. That being said I filled it full of sand and water and it still toppled on strong hits. Its still very fun to use but i constantly have to readjust it. If a standing bag is the only one you can setup, this is the best one. very durable

I bought 2 bags from here both came in excellent condition. My class loves them. Easy assembly, clean look, I used sand which definitely helps keep them from moving less. I also put yoga mats underneath only because of the floor i have them on. They will slide still if your a heavy hitter. You may have to tighten them from time to time but minor inconvenience. Also very easy to roll away even with alot of weight in em.

I bought this punching bag for boxing, kickboxing, and basic Muay Thai training in my home gym. Once I weighed it down with 250 lbs of sand from Home Depot, it's stable enough to train with but not too heavy to move around. I'm very glad I went with this instead of other options available.The padding is thick and sturdy, and is definitely not as dense as a regular hanging punching bag. Combined with wraps and 16oz gloves, I don't foresee any real risk of hand injury.

I've used these bags for 2 years at a local dojo, and purchased one for myself when we built our home studio. It's built very well. After seeing them used in an industrial setting for a couple of years, and holding up, I have no concerns about durability. But there are two considerations when buying. First, you will probably want to fill the base with sand, not water. Water simply did not provide enough weight when used with aggressive punching and kicking, as the bag moved around constantly. Filling with sand is a pain and can be messy, but I recommend it. (Get yourself a big wide-mouth funnel, and make sure your sand is dry!) The second issue - and why I docked 1 star in my rating - is that the bag part unscrews itself constantly from the base. I'll just stop and screw it back in, but it is a pain. I read that you can put some rubber between the bad stem and the base, so I'll give that a try. If I can tackle that problem then I'll be a totally happy camper.

These are the bags my teacher has at our karate academy, and he swears by them - so when I bought a bag for my home dojo, I never even considered another brand. Century is hands down the best martial arts supplier out there.

We had been looking for a heavy bag for a while. This product is well made, very sturdy, very easy to put together, and most importantly an affordable price point for a quality piece of equipment.

Good quality but the plastic base can be improved.
