Clipper Lighter

High quality, theres not much else to say, it looks good, it is good, and it doesnt seem to get hot even if you have it on for 10+ seconds, nice product.

This broke within a few days. I should have returned it, but I just could not be bothered. Call me lazy if you want, you would be right, but I am so fed up with pizzo electric lighters I was not really surprised this one broke. I chucked in a draw with the other pizzo electric lighters I have that no longer work. Pizzo electric lighters seem like the perfect lighter that should need nothing to do, but fill them with gas. The problem is they just never seem to last. I have now bought two flint versions of this Clipper lighter and they work just fine. BUY THE FLINT ONE!!!

Was really pleased with the product but unfortunately after a couple of weeks the flame adjusting ring broke into two pieces, contacted Clipper who replaced it with a flint model saying they had discontinued the electronic model due to problems with the manufacture. This was obviously a manufacturing problem and nothing to do with the supplier who provided a great service.

I bought this lighter a year ago, it still works and I'm pretty happy with it. It lives in my pockets along with loose change. car keys etc and the shiny chrome effect has pretty much worn off revealing a coppery colour. It's not a problem to me, I just wanted a lighter with no flints to wear out.In the winter, because it's metal it gets cold and the gas pressure goes down and becomes hard to light and in the summer it gets hot and turns into a flame thrower because the gas pressure rises. The little wheel which adjusts the flame size has fallen off but that doesn't matter as you can use a thumbnail to turn it if you need to.I'd give it 8/10 and say, for the money it a good buy.

Bought 2 new quartz clippers ,1 matt finish 1 shiny chrome finish .Within a couple of weeks the matt finish case had started to wear through showing a copper coloured casing after a couple of months case looked 50 yrs old matt finish worn through in many places and then striker started failing needing several presses to get it to light and then finally failed altogether mechanism becoming locked.Managed to get seller to replace the lighter after much arguing he wanted me to send it back to clipper ,i swapped it for shiny finish and so far it still works ok and finish is fine .Just lately the First bought shiny finish clipper hardly used lighter has now failed and mechanism has locked up i now await my replacement shiny finish clipper packing up .
