Yes, you will need a 10 volume developer, but your processing time might need to be shortened to avoid your color going too dark, unless that is what your desired goal is. If you’re dying your hair normally, it’s one part hair color to two parts developer. But if you want to cover white hair, then the ration is 1 to 1. I have a lot of white hair, and this hair color covers it very well. However, each time I wash my hair, a little bit of the dye fades. I wash my hair every day, and dye it once a month. By the end of the month, my white hair is light brown.
