Athletic Mesh Knit White, Fabric by the Yard

This is the exact product used as a stay-dry lining in cloth diapers, which is what I needed. I couldn’t find a yard of Athletic Wicking Jersey shipped for less than $12-18 elsewhere on the internet, so I’m very pleased with this product!!! It’s a soft, stretchy, quality material. I’m very happy with the results of dying the fabric too.Just a note, this isn’t mesh, per the product description. If you haven’t heard of AWJ/athletic wicking jersey, it probably isn’t the fabric you’re looking for. It’s known for its suburb moisture wicking properties, not for looking like a football jersey.

I have been searching for wicking cloth in fabric stores and fabric sections in variety stores ,but was informed this material from China had been discontinued.I was very excited to finally find wicking fabric and plan to order more.It is a thin material which wicks water away from the skin. I use this soft smooth material for my bird's play table as it is easy on his arthritic feet and absorbs fluid leaving his play area dry.I have also found this fabric easy to clean; adding a small amount of Clorox to the wash water removes stains.I do recommend purchasing this fabric.

Fabric is nice - only 2 way stretch so I need to make something else than planned. Still super quick shipping and good quality fabric, good opacity.

This fabric is much more like a dri-fit fabric than a mesh. It still did the job I needed it to do (swimsuit lining) but it was not really what I expected.

Wow, this fabric usually costs about $9 a yard, but I only paid a few bucks a yard through this vendor. The fabric is exactly the same kind used in making dry-fit tech sports shirts. The fabric is little thicker like when the first dry-fit shirts came out, unlike the thinner dry-fit fabric used on today's shirts. I bought 10 yards and made 7 shirts and I still have enough left over to make 3 more.

As a nurse I do a lot of cleaning/caring for Gtube. I used this material to make dressings for the Gtube. I am pleasantly surprised that this truly is moisture wicking and kept the site dry.
