There’s multiple points where this item says it’s 8lbs, however it also says it’s 96 oz (6lbs). Am I paying for 6 or 8?

Before seeing your question, I felt my box was so light that I measured it. I expected 8 pounds, but only received 6 pounds.

I placed an order for 10 lbs. i received 5.6 lbs. doesn't seem quite right to me to not get what i paid for. can i get the rest of what i paid for?

Go on your Amazon and you can call or text (I text) and tell them, they will fix it in some way. They have done it in the past for me.

What cutting is this?

I believe it’s second cutting. It’s crispy and my rabbits love it! I used to feed them Oxbow and since I’ve switched to this, they eat significantly more hay.

Does this hay have seeds that would affect composting or just put in a garden?

We don't recommend the hay be used for composting.
