As close to perfection as a flight bag can get
Does everything it says. It seems well built, everything lies logically laid out and easy to access. It uses space efficiently too. I’m sure there could be improvements to this bag, but I’m unable to think of anything. I hope it lasts a long time.

Compact, High Quality and Good Design
I own a Sporty's Flight Gear Crosswind Bag, and a Sporty's Flight Gear iPad Bag. They're good bags, but I wanted something more compact, and I wanted it all black. I've never liked the Sporty's Flight Gear color scheme. This bag is perfect. It's made of high quality materials. It looks sharp. It's well padded. It's actually surprising how much I can fit in this thing. It kind of makes me wonder how much stuff is actually in a woman's purse lol.I wasn't sure if this bag would be too small, so to help you think through your own needs, Here's what I typically carry in this bag starting from the back and working my way forward:Outer back pocket:---------------------- Check listsInner Back Zip Pouch:------------------------- iPad Mini (main padded pocket)- Documents like Pilot Cert, Medical, Passport ID Card, some cash (zip pocket)- Anker PowerCore+ 20100 backup battery - I use this to keep my Sentry + iPad topped off (mesh pocket)- A Sentry ADS-B receiver (mesh pocket)Center Zip Pouch:--------------------- Bose A30 headset (main pouch area, clipped to top leaving room at the bottom for the other stuff)- Sun glasses in a case (main pouch area)- MyClipMulti Kneeboard for iPad (main pouch area)- Sentry RAM mount suction cup (main pouch area)- Backup AA and AAA batteries (mesh pocket)- Small bag with camera parts (mesh pocket)Front Zip Pouch:------------------- 5.5 x 8 Inch Knee Board Clipboard (main padded pocket)- Insta360 x4 Camera with lens protectors and cap (meshed pocket)- Headset Audio / Camera audio splitter (meshed pocket)- Black Diamond Headlamp (zipped pocket)- Zeiss lense cleaning wipes (meshed pocket)- Leatherman Skeletool CX (meshed pocket)- A spare pen (pen holder)Front Outer Pocket:------------------------ Sanitizing hand wipes (I use these to get the 100LL off my hands after sumping)Right Outer Pocket:----------------------- Icom A24 backup radio- Extra pensLeft Outer Pocket:--------------------- RAM mount / arm with quick release for Insta360 x4 CameraAttached to Shoulder Strap:-------------------------------- Adventure Medical Kits Trauma Pak Pro with Quikclot & Trauma Tourniquet- RESCUEME PLB1 GPS, SOS Personal Locator Beacon (if I'm traveling over vast rural areas)- I also clip on an ASA Jiffyhood if I'm doing simulated IFR workWould I buy this bag again? Heck yeah.

Really good bag
I’m a student, I fly most days and have been using this for about a month. I love this bag. It’s the perfect size for all my stuff. Quality seems to be good and I’m sure it’ll hold up for years to come. Headset, kneeboard, logbook, iPad, iPad holder, keys, all my pens white out and all that junk, foggles, flashlight and a power supply with cords. Even have an e6b calculator in there. Holds it all comfortably without the bag being overly full. Even have a little room for some other stuff. The only thing I don’t like is the price but what can you expect in aviation?

Great flight bag
I did my flight training with a backpack and the Bose headset case. It was an awkward combo so I looked around for something a little more compact. I like the Pro bag because it is a little more understated. The bag itself is well padded and constructed. There are three main compartments; the center compartment I use for a Bose A20, a pocket/knick-knack compartment which I use for a portable battery pack and spare batteries. It also has room for cables and a zipper pocket to keep things like your pilot's license and medical from getting lost in the shuffle. The third compartment I use for an iPad mini, a Sentry (in carrying case). There is also room for foggles and a sunglass case. The two outside open pockets I keep a Sectional, Checklists, POH and Logbook if needed. I then just wrap my knee board around the carry handle. It is pretty full, but the strap makes it easy to carry. Very happy!

Good value, holds necessities.
Most of us are after this flight bag because we're looking for a compact way to hold our aviation related necessities. Here's what I fit:Front Zipper Pocket: Bose A20Middle Zipper Pocket: iPad mini, flyboys kneeboardBack Zipper Pocket: Sentry Mini, Sentry Mini suction mount, iPad yoke mountSide Pockets (both): Flashlight, Oil rag, Leatherman multitoolFront Outer Pocket (non-zipper): Large bag of ginger drops (50ct)Rear Outer Pocket (non-zipper): Several paper chartsA few small pockets left for batteries, keys, fuel tester etc. Overall, good build quality. Recommended for licensed pilots who use tablets in their planning/flying. PPL students with physical learning materials (E6B, FAR/AIM etc.) should consider using a larger bag. Radio/Water-Bottle holder is drawstring based instead of elastic and cannot fit a 40oz thermos, however a thermos can easily be attached via a D-Ring to the bag thanks to its mounting points. Note that the bag did come with a Flight Outfitters badge on it as seen in a few of the product photos. You can pull the badge off with some force, note that doing so will leave two small round holes where it was attached.

Perfect for student/private pilot
This bag is big enough to carry the essentials without being too bulky. The first zip pocket has inner pockets to keep things organized and easy to find. Each of the zip pockets has felt lining to keep gps, ipad, headphones, etc safe and free from damage. Here’s what I use it for with room to spare. Outer pockets: kneeboard, two sectionals. First zip pocket: logbook, chargers, backup SD cards, gum/snack, pocket tissues. Middle zip pocket: Garmin 796 GPS, backup iPad. Third zip pocket: Bose A20 headphones, backup batteries. Outer pockets: flashlight, utility knife, pens, keys. I’ve been using this bag for over a month now, and have not noticed any signs of wear or damage.

Bought for my son who is a helicopter pilot
He was very happy with the size and quality of this bag. I thought it was quit expensive but he assured me it was well worth the money and it works great.
