I can't say enough wonderful things about DollyLocks, I am not being paid for the reveiw and every time I get the product I always pay full price. I don't care. I install dreadlocks AND human hair dreadlock extensions And this Product helps both your natural Dreadlocks as well as your permanent extensions (if you have them and are wondering) this is the product for you! It keeps your scalp stay clean and healthy, it makes you smell like a goddess DAYS after washing your hair. I also have the refreshing spray, and tightening spray. All of my customers love this product and my dreadlocks love this product. I have people stop and ask me all the time how I maintain dreadlocks like this and I tell them palm rolling and DOLLY LOCKS PRODUCTS!!! The shampoo keeps my hair and scalp clean the refreshing spray makes me always smell nice and inbetween washes I can use it and I use my limited edition "Dragons Blood" tightening spray (smells amazing) and that keeps tighting my natural hair together with the permanent extensions. If you have dreadlocks of ANY kind (natural, half natural, short, long) do yourself a favor and get this product. Is is expensive when you first start but get one of each product (the conditioner oil you don't need till your dreadlocks are a lot older/really dry) just get the shampoo, tightening spray, and refresher. AND YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! Your dreadlocks will thank you and people will wonder how you have such magical hair!

**update** I have since combed out my dreads and cut my hair short. I have naturally fine curly hair. This is still my favorite shampoo! It lathers well in my hair and cleans without stripping. Still in love!!The scent lingers in my hair which is amazing! It doesn't strip my free form dreads so the frizz is not as bad. In conjunction with the tightening spray, I have a routine down. I use it once a week or once every other week. This does not lather, heads up. I was skeptical about spending that kind of money but its lasted me forever. Will purchase again.

I've been a Dreadhead for close to seven years now and this is by far the best shampoo I have used. Others have left my babies feeling chalky with visible residue and I loved how clean this stuff rinses through and the wee bit of mint smell it leaves is a plus. My scalp has also felt less itchy after e few uses of this soap.. I'll definitely be back for more!

I actually love this stuff, and will be buying more once i run out... i just wish that i didnt have to use quite so much. I know that dread soap does not typically get overly bubbly since its all natural and doesnt leave residue, but i find i have to use A LOT to get over my whole scalp and dreads. I feel like I am going it run out sooner than i would like. It is definitely without a doubt worth it though. My hair is noticeably softer and stronger after i wash with this stuff, and it smells awesome! LOVE it! Thanks for such a great product that makes me smell girlie again!

I like this scent. It makes my hair feel light and clean after a good wash and my scalp feels cleansed. This is honestly my second choice for a shampoo. My first choice is the lavender scent of this same brand. This is easily my 2nd though. My review on the lavender is basically the same as this. It’s outstanding but that lavender scent is next level godlike.

My dreadlocks are about 7 months old. I've been using a residue free shampoo from Dreadhead Hq. That shampoo is very thick and very difficult to wash from my dreads. I also found that I had way more dandruff which had never been a problem for me before.Despite there not being a lot of product reviews for this Dollylocks shampoo, I decided to gamble and it was so worth it. My scalp feels great, it rinses right out and it smells fabulous. It is residue free and vegan! My dreads feel great and I'm sold. I will be buying this in the future instead of Dreadhead HQ. It is a little pricey but again, it is so worth it. A little goes a long way. It arrived packaged well and a few days before the projected delivery date.I purchased Rosemary Peppermint and also Tea Tree shampoos; both are fabulous.

Smells very strong in the bottle but after use it smells amazing and treats my scalp like gold! My head feels amazing, and I can see the dry skin on my scalp receding which is why I bought the product (recommended by my hair stylist). Locks feel great after use, and the smell stay through the day and give a nice fresh smell that I have to say is slightly therapeutic 😊

You're better off just getting a normal shampoo and rinsing well. The notion that you need special shampoo for locks is just a marketing scam. It's hair regular shampoo works. Just get a clarifying or volume shampoo and it won't leave residue. All of their products are unnecessary
