I have been buying LEDs for many years and yes, they do last much longer than Incandescent/CFL, but take that longevity marketing figure with a grain of salt as you will still have a small percentage of failures. I have a restaurant with probably 150 can lights and I am very pleased with these lights based on luminosity and rarity of replacement. Years ago, I would replace various incandescent lights 3-5 times a week. After replacing everything with these I probably replace 1 or 2 every few months or so. This in not to mention the 80-90% reduction in Watts and heat output! The old halogen lights above the bar running at 100W+ each acted like heat lamps and would burn out very often. After switching to these above the bar (slightly different model, but same manufacturer) I think I have replaced one in 2 years and saved 650 Watts there alone. I also use the on the exterior and went with 5000k (from yellow light) and made the building look like new!

They lit up right away. Could not answer to longevity because I’ve only had them for a couple days.

I love the traditional shape without fins. They fit into the light fixtures much better. They are consistently bright and the color rendering is consistent. The only downside so far is that a few of them have failed in the first 18 months.

I replaced eight - 50w light bulbs with the Sunco 7w bulbs. The new bulbs have bright light, work with a dimmer, use less energy, and generate very little heat when compared to the 50w bulbs. There were 10 lights in the box and I needed 8 bulbs. One would not work so I ended up with one extra light. I am very happy with the lights.

I'm using these for pot lights. Handling the first bulb I found the bulbs surprisingly light and easy to handle. Other LEDs I've use have used were heavier using a thicker plastic body and lens. The lighter weight doesn't appear to effect quality's once in place they're not typically banged about. 'This bulb is advertised as usable in wet locations -so be sure the fixture into which you plug it is equally as safe! The colour temperature is 2700 so the light colour isn't the harsh bluish tone ( they make other temperatures so be aware when ordering).LED lights (except for pricey Smart LEDs) to not go towards a warm golden colour when dimmed as halogen and incandescent bulbs do so are not as versatile for mood lighting. These ones do a good job in most situations.

I did my research. Like A LOT and REALLY wanted to get this right (particularly because I love design and get migraines and flicker is a death-knell). Unfortunately, these bulbs flicker everywhere between very low and full on high. Secondly, we have 120 50W halogens to replace and I’m trying as hard as I can to get a comparable, environmentally friendly replacement: these are still quite “blue” tho some reviews say “yellow” or “candlelight.” Again unfortunately, my experience is more “dull day at the dentist.” I really wanted to love these bulbs.

I bought these to replace some halogen bulbs. These are a very harsh white light, and provide a lot of glare. When used with a dimmer switch, they turn off at about 2/3 brightness, so you can’t have a low lighting situation in the evening.I returned them and was charged just under $9.00 for shipping, nowhere in the product details does it mention return charges, otherwise I wouldn’t have bought them..I’ll never buy another Sunco lighting product again..

I really like the warm glow of a hot wire in a glass bulb. Furniture, clothing and paints look best in incandescent because that's what we designed to for 100 years. The problem is most LED (even the warm whites) leak blues and greens that make things look sickly and the cheap ones have so much cold blue-white they give me a headache.These are nearly a side-by-side perfect match to my old incandescents (an even better match than my expensive CFLs) and I love them.

I bought 4 of these boxes to replace my 3K bulbs.I expected that they would somewhat last and would be of quality made.One bulb burnt within a month.Asked the seller for assistance....and they do not provide any warranty service.Amazon customer service was great in responding and offering options for solving it.I would continue to buy from Amazon but NOT from this seller.
