Bought for a Ruger GP100. I'm 6'3" at 230lbs.
My initial reaction when strapping it to my leg was it's too small and rids down too far close to my knee. I adjusted the belt strap as high as I can get it and expanded both thigh straps as far as I could with one of the buckles but couldn't get the top strap around my leg. So naturally I wasn't happy.I sat down for a few minutes watching a few videos online on other stuff and just messed around with the straps a bit, and realized for someone with a larger leg, you really need to extend both the buckle and the clip out. Tried it on my leg and I could have fit my arm between the strap and my leg. Now it's damn near perfect. My leg isn't getting choked and it's still held firm against my leg. I can even squat down while not feeling too tight.I'm happy with it :).

Great Holster, wrong for a guy my size, though
The Holster is of very high quality, I'd enjoy it more if I weren't a heavy set gentlemen. The belt strap likes to try and pull my pants down, and the leg straps suffocate my leg, I'm 275 Pounds, so if you're my weight, or near it, I would not recommend it. (This isn't the fault of Barsony, the holster just isn't "Fluffy Friendly", as a lot of Leg Holsters aren't.)I can't really throw anything else in there, other than I'll be returning the product, and again, not for lack of liking the holster, but for the aforementioned issues.

Good holster, seems durable, will protect the gun, 2 small cons
It's a nice nylon holster with some cool features. It took me alittle while to figure out the thumb strap release, you just push the reinforced nylon with the female button into your leg to release the strap when its tightened and adjusted correctly. My only 2 cons for this product are that there is a chance to rub the button with the cylinder depending on the angle you pull it. Also, along the edge at the top of the holster where you put the gun in, it has an over lap or nylon to strengthen the edge. Well the nylon folds over the edge only about a quarter of an inch and there is a small amount of fabric that is free to flap up and down since the sticthing does not go all the way to the edge of the nylon, which is expected. But this causes the edge of the cylander to catch as you are drawing the pistol, it's not big deal but just something I notice. Over all, good holster, seems durable a comfortable once you get use to something hugging your thigh. I have a SW 586 6 inch and it works perfectly. The model of holster I ordered from the selection menu was for the 686 model since they didnt have a 586 model but both guns are the same frame, not sure if this is the correct holster for it, not sure if different model holsters are lined with different material for blued or stainless guns but that's the one I got and it works just fine.

Works for intended purpose
I bought this as a 'field' holster for a Smith 629 6" 44 mag. these are pretty heavy guns. I am not into the whole tacticool thing but most holsters for the field make it difficult to sit in a car or move around. I have been using shoulder holsters but one for a 44 mag gets complex or is a chest rig. this does the job. not in the way... easy on easy off. I give it four stars even tho I really hate nylon or plastic for a holster material. I like leather for holsters but this does work. the fit for my Smith was pretty good. seems to be pretty well constructed except for plastic snaps on the leg ties.

Perfect fit
Arrived 4 days before estimated delivery!! Perfect fit, only needed a slight adjustment to fit the revolver. Holds my 5-1/2" Redhawk .44 Rem. Mag. tight to my leg. I'm 6' 260lbs have ample adjusting to accommodate my thigh from jeans to my thermal coveralls.Re-snaping the hammer strap did take some practice [10-15 times to do without looking] to get my fingers and thumb trained.

Finally.....A holster that fits me and my Judge
Somebody else said they were a big guy and that this actually fit their leg, so I decided to give it a shot...It arrived very quickly, well before the expected date. After a few adjustments to the leg straps and belt strap, I had it comfortably on my side.I slid in my Judge (6" barrel) and it found its new home when on the range. The securing strap is kind of a pain to pull to release the weapon, but it will be secure if I have to move quickly with it.With the strap disengaged, the Judge pulls from this holster smoothly every time.I am very satisfied with this purchase

Who exactly was this made to fit?
I'm under 200lbs and under six feet. I purchased this holster after reading the many "huskier individuals" citing it being "a little tight". I figured; well, it'll probably fit me perfectly then, right? Wrong! I'm nowhere near thick, but also nowhere near emaciated, as tightly as they can be worn, the leg straps sag closer to the knee than the thigh after minimal movement. Additionally, the retention strap is downright annoying. However, the retention of the holster itself is actually good enough to the point that I just removed the strap completely. I guess this product would work if all you were gonna strap it to yourself and sit in a chair all day, but if you're moving - look elsewhere.
