Note: My hair texture is 3c/4a, low porosity, thin strands (but a lot of them), and is bra-strap length.As a child, my mother used Infusium 23 on my hair every week before blow-drying it straight. While I've since switched to a no-heat and naturally curly routine for my hair, I've also begun the process of growing my hair as long as possible. And I've always remembered that my hair experienced little to no breakage when I was a child, even with the heating element, so I decided to try Infusium again to see how it worked on my natural hair.I've been using it for almost a month, and I can say that it does provide an additional layer of protection against physical damage - such as combing, or the friction caused by my ends rubbing against the clothing on my shoulders/back. It also provides a substantial amount of "slip" when I'm finger-detangling my hair during the week (between wash days).My typical application of the liquid is either via a spray bottle or a foaming bottle. While it's not heavy enough for me to use as my sole leave-in, it's a great product to refresh my curls.This product does contain two water-soluble silicones, which I tend to avoid in general, but I haven't experienced any build-up or dryness from them. I do, however, clarify my hair once a month, and wash with a sulfate-free shampoo once a week - so I haven't tried this product while on a strictly no-poo routine.The liquid also imparts a subtle yet natural shine, which I appreciate as my hair can often appear to have a matte appearance.Overall, this is a solid addition to my daily haircare routine. It's not a showstopper product with bells and whistles, but given that it's seemingly providing the same level of quality results for me as it did more than 30 years ago? It's a product that definitely stands the test of time.

I used to use Infusium back in the 90s and only just remembered it. Granted I don’t have the same hair I did as a teenager but Infusium still works great. My hair is frizzy and damaged. After a week or so of daily application after showering my hair is much smoother, shinier, and softer. I love the gentle, non-floral smell. It’s a huge bottle that will last a long time.

I was introduced to Infusium 23 back in the 90s and then sought it out again a couple of years ago. Hopefully this company never stops making the product! Several salons have tried to convince me to buy their conditioning or taming products which are supposedly designed for thin hair, but so far, NOT ONE of them have offered a product as lightweight as this very watery leave-in treatment. And not one has been this inexpensive, either. For thin hair, you can actually replace any conditioner with this, and your hair won't look so greasy by the end of the day. My hair is very thin, pretty fine and also curly. This Infusium 23 , along with a small amount of a lightweight curling gel is perfect to keep my hair curly without looking wet and heavy. I have quit looking elsewhere for anything better.

So glad I found this on amazon. They used to sell this at retailers, but it's hard to find this anymore. Out of all the haircare products, this one is still so effective. It's formulated with B5 vitamins to strengthen your hair and make it less brittle. I used this in my 20s and still use it to this day. My teens use it too.

I have used this product for over ten years, and my hair loves it! It does not weight my hair down, smells good without a perfume fragrance, and a little goes a long way. I'm very happy that I can get it on Amazon as its only carried in a few beauty supply stores.

I’ve used this item for >50yrs. Originally only available in salons, it has kept my hair shiny with way less breakage ever since my first salon appointment when I was 11. No sticky residue either.

Went back to using this after not using for so many years and I received comments on how well my ends looked and felt.
