RBP Stealth Power

RBP stealth powersteps are a great product. They look slick hidden as well as deployed. The construction fit and finish are top notch, everything looks fantastic. The design is superb, it functions as it should. Everything is included that is needed, the wiring harness is constructed well. They deploy quickly and smoothly I am very happy with them. Now for the installation part. I installed these myself with the help of a buddy. A little advise I installed the brackets first like the instructions stated but not the running boards I ran the wiring first. I made sure it all worked before finishing the install than put the boards on. Another tip watch the YouTube video that they have on the installation, it helps with placing the magnets. The instructions are not the best but they do guide you in the right direction. Everything pretty straight forward but running the wires is what takes the most time. Also they don't really show a good example of installing the t nut, luckily mine had threaded mounting points so I didn't need it. But if you're one of the unlucky ones that have just holes at the mounting points further clarification on installing the t nut will be needed. Another tip when running the trigger wire for the driver's side they say to fish it under the carpet this can be difficult as I myself have a center console I didn't want to take that apart so what I did, I passed it underneath the vehicle through the crossmember and up the rubber grommet used for the parking brake. But if you get them installed none of this really matters lol but just a few tips for the DIY People in here. I will update durability or if anything changes.

Installed these on my 09 Ram 1500 2WD crew cab. Instructions were easy to follow however there was one item I wish was supplied on 2WD trucks. The pinch weld seam on 2WD trucks is not pre drilled for the outside bolts so really would have helped having a template to mark the holes for the lower bolts. Locating and drilling for these bolts was the hardest part of install. Once installed, wiring was really simple and everything has weatherpac connectors. The steps work perfectly and are very sturdy. I’ve had them installed now for about a month and have had zero issues. I like that both brackets on each side are motorized. So far I feel like they are very high quality and would recommend them 100%.

The media could not be loaded.  Easy to assemble and set up, literally plug and play. Laid everything out on the ground and assembled it with the right tools. The motors and the runningboards were the easiest part. The wires is what took some time, just make sure you watch some of the videos on their. I am by no means a mechanic.

2019 Silverado 3500hd with def tank…. Came without instructions need to know where the motor mounts near def tank.

Like the running boards, however upon delivery, the box was open and when I went to install there were no directions and no magnets for the sensors. I figured out the installation but how can I get the magnets it was supposed to come with?

Once I finally got a complete set to install they are great. First delivery was missing motors, harness, and one step. The step was at local UPS hub. Then discovered the other missing parts. The best step you can get. It drops down so far...... it's great. The expense is so worth it.

These look awsome in my 2016 ram instalation was not hard at all but it has to be highly recomended to have someone with you to help.The instructions are very well writed and has color pictures to guide you
