Bought this to set up my shampoo bowl, you use this instead of a p- trap. It works great and easy to clean. It’s definitely a must have when your shampoo bowl plumbing because just having a basket in the drain is not enough. This product actually catches all the hair to avoid future drain clogs

Unlike others I bought of this exact same style, this one came with an o ring. Others I bought had no oring and I always have a drip issue and have to put Vaseline on the others.

Since covid I decided to work from home and I purchased the shampoo bowl from Amazon and the both have been durable and comfortable. The hair trap works great but I also use hair traps in the bowl to prevent as much damage as possible.

The cap started leaking immediately after installation.

It works just as it should. You might have to buy a few inexpensive drain pieces to make it fit in place of the standard trap, I did but it was no big deal.

This didn’t work for my pipes due to size. It would have been perfect if the correct size.
