Favorite book out of the series.......
First of all, I want to state that this book does contain some descriptions of physical and sexual abuse. It's not overly graphic and it's only in a few parts of the book, but I thought that I should put up this warning in case anybody might be slightly triggered by that. However, despite this, the book is actually really lighthearted and hilarious at times. What really saves it from being dark and depressing is the frequent appearance of Sarah's children and Bones's bonding moments with them. This book is packed with so many cute scenes with the kids that really take away from the darkness and of Sarah's backstory.Sarah is awesome. I wanted to give her a hug so many times. I can't even imagine having to endure what she did. I certainly wouldn't have come out of it as strong-willed as her. I love Bones. I love how no matter what Sarah threw at him, he was willing to be with her no matter what. And this might sound weird, but I love that Sarah has food allergies. It had no real relevance on the plot and the book would still make sense without it, but I just felt it was a nice little touch. I also have a few friends in real life who have food allergies and I can honestly say that they've never heard of a romance heroine who has them as well.

Wow
Sarah left abusive parents when she was young, then later escaped an abusive boyfriend with her two babies and one on the way. She is always looking for the other shoe to drop. She finds her brother but is still looking for her sister. Sarah meets the Whiskeys, a motorcycle riding, protective, gorgeous men. Bones is a doctor and is so in love with Sarah and her children, he does everything in his power to get Sarah’s walls around her heart to fall. Sarah has done things that she hasn’t told anyone and is afraid that if Bones finds out he’ll not want her anymore. What she doesn’t realize, Bones will love her no matter what.BEST WHISKEY BOOK!!! Secrets, sex, and a sexy doctor/motorcycle club member. A woman who has been through more than most women could live with. Cute children that’ll make you laugh and a story that’ll make you cry.

Magic Miracles...Loving the Whiskey Way!
Melissa Foster engenders yet another beautiful story about finding your way out of the void of hurt, sadness, anger and loneliness...into the pure light of Love, Family and Friendship...it’s a story of restoration and new beginnings. I have to say as a devoted “Foster”ette...this has become tied with ‘Tru Blue’ as my favorite. Her sensitivity and loving kindness shines through as she tells about Sarah (as well as Scott and Josie...her characters siblings) as she climbs out of the pit created by her past...into a future filled to the brim with the positivity and love that she’d never had. She comes into the Whiskey family via a terrifying accident that put her, her children and brother in need of rescue. Sarah has been taught to distrust people, to always watch for the other shoe to drop...and for them to show their true colors...like a snake shedding their skin reveals the reality of who they are. She comes from an abusive background...first her parents and then her ex...but instead of learning to be like them...she learns what NOT to be. She used every experience she had to build a different life for her and her children. She’s pregnant and surviving...but is that really living?Wayne Whiskey (Bones) is a doctor whose specialty is Oncology...but his need to help...to heal...stems from his own difficult past. He’s the “Good One” of the brothers and yet he is fiercely loyal and protective...just as his brothers are. They learned to be that way from birth from their strong loving parents Biggs and Red. When he sees Sarah the first time...he discovers what...who...he’s been waiting for his whole life, and systematically sets out to demonstrate that she can trust him. He showers her and her children, Bradley and Lily, with caring, tenderness and time...and in so doing shows Sarah a whole new way of living. This story, though it is dealing with abuse of all kinds, is written in such a way as to take care of the reader(s) who’ve been down that road before...and yet it gives us the greatest blessing of all...that there is Hope! Kudos to the Author...for dealing with a sensitive subject in such a wonderful...yet realistic way. I cried, laughed and “awww’d” my way through this whole book.RECOMMEND!!!

Would not recommend to read it as a standalone
Before I bought this book I read that it could be read as a standalone. However I don’t think that’s true. There were so many characters mentioned in the beginning that I quickly lost sight of who was who and with whom. It was overwhelming and made me disconnect with the story.Besides that I couldn’t stand Sarah. I understand that she had a dark past but she was just too much for me. I just wanted to shove her down a flight of stairs in stead feeling her pain and cheering her on as she gets stronger. I also couldn’t stand that Bones was so sweet, understanding and patient. I liked it at the beginning but I like my men to be more rough. Also, Sarah and Bones don’t really face any struggles. There is one scene at the end but it was fell flat.I also think that Sarah and her sisters relationship was unnecessary. I get that it was to introduce the FMC for the next installment but I honestly didn’t like her. I definitely don’t want to read her story because she seemed so immature. So what did I like about this book? I liked the interaction between Bones and the kids. It was really sweet without being too much. I also liked the strong family ties and how they helped each other - i would probably have appreciated this more if I had read the other books so I could get a better understanding of the different characters.

Worth the wait :)
I, like many of Melissa Fosters fans, have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Bones Whiskey's story, and when it arrived I was not disappointed.Bones and Sarah meet in terrible circumstances, and from that first moment, Bones was madly in love.Sarah moved to Peaceful Harbour to escape her abusive past and give her children the childhood they deserve. The problems that Sarah experienced in her past, makes it hard for her to trust people, so when she and her family are accepted by the Whiskeys and the motorcycle gang, Sarah finds it hard to relax and trust that things will be ok.Bones come into her life at a time when Sarah wasn't looking, and shows his patience, understanding, care for her children and his kind and protective nature. He seems too good to be true and Sarah thinks he will soon get bored and move on. Can Sarah move past her history and give Bones a chance and accept that happiness can be for her?I could not put this book down. It is full of emotion and pulls at the heart strings in a way that Melissa's books do. It was also good to catch up with Bullet, Bear and Tru and see how their lives are progressing.

Wicked Whiskey Love
Since book 1 in the Whiskeys series I have been dying to read Wayne "Bones" Whiskeys story. Admittedly I wasn't sure how I was going to like the fact that Sarah was pregnant with two other kids being his love interest, but her past and her story with Bones was told in true Melissa style. She took a sensitive subject of the physical and emotional abuse that Sarah had gone through and told it in my eyes, with tact in a respectful way. This is one rollercoaster read full of emotion, love and everything in between. Sarah is a strong woman, though she's doesn't fully realise it and when Bones shows how caring, respectful and supportive he is, she finally let's him in and boy what a story they create.Wicked whiskey love had me crying and whilst it is an emotional heart-breaking read it is also heart warming at the same time. This is right up there with Tru Blue sharing the top spot of my fave Melissa Foster book's!

Dark edged romance
Wicked Whiskey is the story of Sarah and Bones. They met when Sarah was involved in a serious car accident. Bones is a doctor and he went the extra mile to help her and her children recover. With the help of The Dark Knights, a motorcycle club, Sarah builds a new life for her family. Bones is attracted to Sarah and her children and wants to do all he can to protect them. But Sarah's had a hard life and she fears that Bones will change if she lets him get too comfortable in her life.A sexy storyline with a dark edge. Part of a series, but can be read as a stand alone.

Wow! Wow! Wow! What an amazing read you did it again Melissa. Bones and Sarah story was hard to read because of how emotional it was between them and also Sarah’s past was a nightmare and with the help of bones she finally gets her happily ever after, in this book you read more from the previous characters, it’s always good to hear from them and get to know of future ones to. Can’t wait to read Jed and Josie’s story next year. Another 5 star 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 read

Whiskey man to dream of
Who wouldn't want a Whiskey man in her life. Sara's life before was hard and horrible to read about. When Bone's came into her life it would never be the same again. I cried over this story and sighed (in envy) over their love for each other.
