i bought this same laptop on offer up for $150. also to caroline who said she couldnt backup her data. lol come on you a graduate student and dont know how to remove 4 screws and unmount the hard drive/

If I could have given this computer a zero, I would. I understand that I had downgraded from previous computer, HOWEVER, my issue lies in that after having it for one week, it completely died in that it was a motherboard issue. I was advised I was sold a lemon and to my dismay, I could not retrieve my data without having to pay for retrieiving my data (I am a graduate student in the mindst of writing papers and so you can sense my frustration). To be honest, it was slow and I could have dealt with that, but this is beyond belief that they could be putting products like this out there. I would not advise buying this.
