Fortress Security Store Pet Immune Motion Detector for Home Alarm Security System

I bought this and install, after few months the PIR began to fail, I contacted support and they give me instructions about the installation and reconfiguration they treat me as a dummy, I followed all his instructions to avoid any problem, the unit never worked again, I spend more than 2 years trying to get a solution, they always trate me as a dumb and never want to fix the problem, at the end the issue was with the main unit and they never wanted to give a solution or replace it, after 3 years my warranty ends even when requested for support after few months to bought and they claim all the system was out of warranty never response again my request, Don't waste your money. I tried for many ways to get support and warranty like by using BBB, sending emails, and nothing works

Excellent customer service before and after my purchase. The system is easy to install and if you have any problems you need only call them and they will walk you through the problem you're having. Like others have said, this is not a cheaply made security system. I'm really impressed and have recommended it to friends and family. If you're planning to add cameras at a later date (they're coming out with them or have them already) you need to purchase the Total Security package because they are matched to that system.

I am happy with my fortress security system. I bought this extra motion sensor because the adhesive for the door alarms is not good. The alarms fall off all the time, even with the expensive 3M adhesive I bought when the OEM tape failed. These motion sensors are great because my two cats don't set them off. The 9v batteries last a long time too. Pairing this with my existing system was very easy. I also recommend their fire alarms.

Even on lowest sensitivity, sometimes a large cat sets it off, even from quite a distance. This does have sensitivity and other adjustments by moving some internal jumper pins. Ask the seller for directions if you buy it, but I really don't recommend it unless you want your alarm to go off sometimes for no good reason.

I purchased the SO2 B Fortress Alarm System. I purchased three additional pet immune motion detectors to keep in the area where our weiner dog is. We are very pleased with the alarm system. We have it set up to call us on the phone if the alarm is activated. The system was easy to set up and everything worked as advertised. I recommend this system.

I bought three pet immune motion sensors since I have two dogs. I installed the regular motion sensors that came with the SO2-F kit I bought in my garage and other areas my pets don't wander. The instructions state that the pet immune motion sensors will work with pets 40 pounds and under. Well my dogs are 85 pounds. I installed them and angled them up slights and have never had a false alarm when system armed in away mode. The sensors do pick up humans with no problem at all.

Two screws to mount it, pair it with the control panel, then you're done. As simple as that, and with no wires to worry about. These are pet immune as well, which means that they won't be triggered by a small cat or dog wandering around the house.

I spent a good amount of money to but the of these, and they are not pet friendly at all. I have three cats, and they set these motion detectors off at least once a day. I had to stop using them.
