It does the trick
I use this daily for fine motor skill actions. It does a nice job of separating small items. It’s sturdy and fits well in the hand. I doubt I need to buy it again but will do so if I lose this one.

Useful tool for things other than the intended pipes.
I did not buy this for the intended purpose..cleaning pipes but the tool works well for cleaning a number of other things. My latest was to use it to clean the rubber around my car windows which had a lot of tree droppings. It is amazing how many things you can find to do with this tool. I would buy it again.
