Very happy with bluetooth
I mainly bought this so that I could have Bluetooth built in to the head unit without a separate adapter that I need to charge. The Bluetooth functionality works very well. It automatically connects when I start the car and pauses the audio when I shut it off, which is basically all I wanted. It also has buttons for pause/play and forward/back which is handy, so no need to use my phone at all for the most part.I believe this is the lowest Kenwood model that has both Bluetooth functionality and customizable colors (there may be one lower for $10 less but not certain). Head units are finally starting to provide an option to do away with the CD player which I would never use.Screen is plenty bright and individual color zones can be customized. There are a ton of options to customize how you want it to behave. The fit and finish is good overall. I'm no audiophile (I basically use it for podcasts) but it sounds good. It's shorter than a normal din unit since it has no CD player. The included microphone, while I haven't messed with the settings much for it, sucks a lot. I don't really use it so not a huge deal for me.Overall it's a good unit for a good price if you're looking for something with modern features that's not a bottom of the barrel Chinese head unit.

First Kenwood and I'm glad I switched!
I used to think my Sony head unit that I had before this was okay but it had quite a bit of Bluetooth issues, I installed this in my 2000 Camry and it went in very well. Since it doesn't have a CD player it is very compact and fits easily in most cars. One thing I can say I absolutely love is being able to have two Bluetooth phones connected at once, all you have to do is press play on one or the other and it will take over It is quite useful for sharing music on rides. Also Bluetooth connects extremely quickly so that is something that makes it very convenient to use on a daily basis. The settings in the menu are quite extensive and me being someone that loves to tinker with settings, this came to a very pleasant surprise for the price. I would highly recommend this head unit for beginners or someone who has been in the audio game for a little longer and is looking for a budget head unit with decent output!

Great sound, but seems underpowered
Easy to install, I've been doing car audio since the 90's. This unit is not as deep as a conventional in dash receiver. Menu is a bit dodgy, could be more user friendly. Also, when you switch between source, it takes a few seconds and is just outright annoying. I installed in my 97 camaro that I am restoring and also installed new speakers and ran all new wiring. Unit is crisp and clear, but seems just a tad weak. But, my car is a t-top car and I usually have the tops off. Bluetooth connectivity and call quality are pretty good. I'd recommend something higher powered for convertible vehicles, but for average everyday person, you wont be disappointed.

Great Bluetooth Stereo for the price of a no name brand!
Bought this to upgrade a new to me 2002 Mazda B3000 (ford ranger). Simple, small and light. Color options are great and match the green backlight of everything else in the dash. So far Bluetooth is fast and perfect. Phone calls are clear and easy to use the hands free feature. More audio adjustment options than you can imagine. FM radio pulls in more stations and clearly than any stereo I’ve ever had. Sound is great even through the stock speakers, clear and loud. Easy to navigate options and settings. All at a price that’s on par with cheap no name stereos. Will report back after some time about longevity. Very pleased thus far!

Great value and a quality product for your vehicle or RV application.
This is a great value and definite upgrade for any vehicle. The Bluetooth connects immediately, after the initial setup. You can connect up to two devices via BT and it offers a great range of colors to match your cars original or customize to your preference.

Great unit especially in older cars
I used this to upgrade the head unit in my 2004 Subaru. It fits well, and it is a significant upgrade. This unit has a ton of equalizer settings to adjust and if you set them right, it can make your speakers sound great. It's great to have a car with Bluetooth in it so I'm not stuck listening to the radio or CDs like I was with my old stereo.

Great head unit for the price
Probably the best head unit for the price. It’s got Bluetooth, USB, a large color selection, and makes my speakers sound fantastic (in comparison to my factory stereo). Worth the buy if you’re wanting something that gets the job done without emptying your wallet.

Disappointed
Very complicated, or it’s not functioning as it should. If I connect via the AUX it will work for a short time then I have to switch to Bluetooth until that quits working. The phone hands free works and sounds great.
