This will save you money if you have to learn to fly RC all by yourself
If I had been learning to fly using real RC planes and if I made a new purchase every time I destroyed one of its on screen airplanes that I crashed while learning to fly using RF7.5 I'd have spent $10,000.00 on new RC planes in the first month. Now I've flown planes on this thing for well over a year, but it paid for itself in the first week I used it. It taught me to fly good enough that when I did buy a tiny little real (16 inch wingspan) RC airplane (the smaller the plane the harder it is to fly) I flew it's maiden flight the first time without a hitch. When - on screen - I crashed any plane into a hundred pieces all I had to do to get the next plane up and flying was to press the spacebar on my computer keyboard and start flying that brand new airplane immediately. How could you ask for more?Graphics are maybe not the most detailed. I haven't used any other brand of flight simulator. But the graphics are pretty good as far as I can tell. I like it that you get choices for some airports that give the pilot choices of where the camera view shows. I like that you get several airports. I like the obstacle course a LOT.It does take a pretty fast computer with a lot of RAM. I use a gaming computer with 4 processors and about 12 GB RAM and it works good.It was a little tough to spend the $180.00 for this when what I really wanted a real RC plane, but this simulator was far and wide a better choice. The only thing that was a problem with RF 7.5 was that sometimes the RX dongle would stop working for a few seconds and the plane would crash. When that happened - if I could react fast enough and turn my handheld transmitter off, and then back on real fast the thing would start back working like it should. Eventually, I accidentally broke the dongle and RF sold me a new one. The new one behaves a lot better than the original. It comes with over a hundred planes installed as well as several helicopters. If you go to RF's swap pages you can download free planes that don't come in the original package. If you have a friend who also has RF you and he can send one another recordings of your flights that you can both view on your own computer screens. There's several other things you can do - like having dog fights online and some other fun stuff. The best part is if you have a dog fight on line and crash all you have to do to get your new plane up and running is press the spacebar again. - - Well I suspect that's all that's necessary - - I haven't actually flown dog fights.

Second attempt at flight in 30 years and getting close!
After destroying my brand new plane while being connected to my instructor and set to half rate on take off 30 years ago I figured it was about time to learn how to fly. For now we have that same model Airplane runway the MSHCP California Land Grab is trying to take from us but I promise to actually fly and this is getting me ready. This model with the TTX610 does not reset like the other controller so if you have a controller you are using you may want to get the standard controller model and save a few dollars in the process.

Very useful for beginner rc pilot
Very useful for beginner rc pilot. Almost a must have. My main complain is that the program seems blury in most scenerios. I have tried to adjust the graphics settings on RF 7.5 and on my pc. But the presentation is still poor at best. I am running this program on an HP Laptop with a i5 - 5200 cpu.and a Nvidia Geforce 840m graphic card. Maybe my pc is the problem i don't know. Planning on upgrading to a gameing pc soon and maybe updating this post when i do..

The graphics are poor and not realistic
The product absolutely did not meet my expectations. The graphics are poor and not realistic, the landscape is monotonous and boring, and the rare objects you see are often fake. One example is the silhouette of a downtown in a desert. I flew there hoping to enjoy flying around the high-rises, but the downtown appeared to be just one giant flat piece of plywood, with wooden pattern on the back! This quality is not the expectation when you purchase one of the most expensive products in it's class.

Not happy - opened package today and was excited to use it but the USB device that wirelessly connects the controller that come with the package would not load the serial numbers and therefore did not let me use or even open the software - this is extremely disappointing and very annoying. Called tech support and went to their website and apparently there is a known issue as they made a big deal about it not the website and provided a patch that does not work, or did not for me at least on a solid newer computer with current software and hardware that I use every day for games. The tech rep was nice and said she would send me a new USB device, that puts me in waiting for who knows how long. They are selling something that has major bugs, I expected more when I open the box or a fix over the phone, this is a programing issue not a hardware issue but they want to fix it with hardware - now a delay of who knows how long. Not Happy...

Very good system. Beginner or pro.
This software is so advanced. The flight is the same when you use that aircraft on the field.
