Mountainsmith Dry Tour - Moss Green

This bag is everything and more that I was hoping for. Very spacious, truly waterproof. I love the fact that it has space for you to hang all your fishing tools. The zipper is a little tuff, but it was what I expected from a waterproof zipper, so no complaints here.

This waist pack (aka fanny pack) has the right size compartments and the water bottle holder in the right place for me. All others are too small, too many bells and whistles, or no good way to carry water for me. This is simple, flexible and has a good way to carry a bundled rain jacket, lots of gear and a good waist support and buckle. I bought it for all these reasons, not because it was happened to be a much better price than all other waterproof packs.My only reservation was that the main zipper was very, very hard to open. The manufacturer promptly answered my inquiry with a suggestion to try a zipper lube and that improved the slide a lot.

Waterproof and floats! No issues with leaks when submerged. Trade-off is very stiff zippers. Recommend attaching longer, thicker material to zippers to make opening and closing easier. Great for keeping electronics/wallet bone dry when kayaking/fishing or hiking in wet weather. Water bottle holder won't accommodate a hydroflask/Yeti (even their smaller bottles) so you'll need to find larger water bottle holder if you want to attach it to the pack or pack belt.

I think this is a great waterproof, hip bag. In no way am I worried about the water bottle holder falling off, ever. I beat up my gear pretty good, and I’m super impressed with the durability of the product. Zippers are tough, but it’s expected in a waterproof bag.

Had it a couple months and been wading a handful of times with it submerged and not a hint of water. Phone and camera etc are safe now. And enough ways to attach gear to the outside and compartments on the inside. Great purchase.

This pack is great for wading and has a lot of options for attaching nippers and tippet to the outside of the pack. I really like the bottle holder, the small pocket on the waist band to keep a handful of flies or small items. The pack has a perfect sleeve for a net that keeps it from moving around while wading. The pack does get dirty but luckily you can just dunk it in in water.
