Parcelona French Oval Celluloid Silver Grey Automatic Hair Clip Hair Barrette (Silver Grey)

I have really thick hair and some clips have rubberized pieces or extra metal bits that get caught in my hair, as well as take up space within the clip so it is nearly impossible to close. What happens with cheaper clips, is that I have to apply a fair amount of pressure for the clasp to catch and this pressure causes the clip to detach from the decorative bit in front. Once this happens, the whole thing is ruined - there is no reattaching the clip to the decorative piece I've found.Both the clip and the oval tortoiseshell front of this clip are stamped "Made in France". The decorative part is made from a very hard material, solidly attached to the clasp and can withstand a lot of pressure without bending. The metal clip is strong, made of much better materials than other clips I've bought at the grocery store. The part that flips out is firm and strong. Another issue I have is when I get the clasp to catch on some cheaper clips, it pops out on the other side due to the flimsiness of the metal used. Again, this clip is solidly made where this does not happen. Very happy with the purchase, the quality, and the price.

Very nice, a bit pricey. 4 stars only because it can hold a lot of hair, mine is thick and curly, and I think if I wore it every day, it would wear down or break faster.

Nice clip. It is a really great size to clip your hair in a pony tail.I did have a small problem though the top of the clip came unglued from the bottom. My husband glued it for me.Going to buy again in new color

I use this clip at least 2-3 times a week to hide my Bobby pins. This is a strong quality clip that has lasted! Easy to clean off hairspray without leaving residue. Would definitely recommend.
