HOLOSUNT1 Compatible Mount, Absolute Co-Witness, 1.4" Height from Picatinny Surface

I attached a Primary Arms MD-ADS to this mount which requires T1 compatibility and the fit was perfect. One thing not obvious in the product photo is that the left and right are not symmetrical. It will fit the optic in either orientation but one will have a smooth contour at the interface and the other a step. In the "correct" orientation the clamp screw is on the ejection port side. While the "wrong" orientation does not affect functionality, some buyers may have a preference for the clamp screw orientation and/or aesthetics.The height for co-witness is right on. This mount resembles cut aluminum extrusion and the two ends are left open so it can be seen through. This isn't particularly useful since the view is blocked by iron sights anyways. The machining is well done, the recoil lug and clamp relief fit closely with their respective mating parts. The finish is matt black, not sure if it is anodized, Parkerized or something else.

Solid mount. Great price. Mounted to my Primary Arms MD-ADS perfectly. Wish the actual grab portion for the rail grabbed more of the rail. Little less than 1/3 of the rail grabbed by it. But for the price, I'm not entirely upset. Would've liked to see money spent on a torx wrench included over the logo screen printed on both sides.

Same issue as reported by Chester. Mounted it on a 5.56 AR15 and within 15 rounds, the bolt used to secure it to the rail broke off. Part of the bolt was stuck in the screw hole. Totally unacceptable that it breaks off with so few round counts. Will be returning this item to Amazon.

I mounted this to a Primary Arms advanced micro red dot and then mounted it on my M&P 15. I checked the cowitness and it lined up perfectly with the BIUS. I thought things were going to be just fine until the next morning at the range. While firing my 2nd shot of the day, there was a snapping noise, and the red dot and mount just popped off the top of the rifle. I picked them up and found the mount's clamp bolt had just snapped in half. Now, I know what you're going to say, "You over-tightened it." However this is not true. I had read other reviews warning about this so I made sure to just snug it down. I also used thread locker to ensure it didn't come loose. The only reason I am giving it two stars is because it did cowitness like it should and the mount itself looked solid. I am going to be returning this mount and getting one from a different manufacturer. I am just glad it broke before I sighted in the red dot, not after (although I would be happier if it didn't break at all!).

This is good if you need a mount right now but plan to pay top dollar later.It provides absolute co witness with a primary arms micro dot with a mbus set on a ksg which makes zeroing your dot easier. It got a little loose after the first few slugs, re-tightened it and it stayed put for the duration.Good for low recoil and full power slugs.[UPDATE] The mount wiggles slightly from side to side now,like I said only if you plan on buying something more expensive later.

Sold mount. Nice finish. This went on my primary arms MD-06L. It fits and sits well with tight seal with the screws from the original sight but the red dot is just a tad too small for the mount in which the lines do not match up flush. But it's so minute that it doesn't really matter to me. You can only mount it in one direction since the mount is not symmetrical in design. This mount is used with a Holosun micro red dot or Primary Arms MD-ADS but works perfectly with the MD-06 red dot series.... It is a great buy and tough. I do t know if the lines are flush with a T-1 or H-1 aim point micro. Does not budge after 100 rounds and holds red dot zero well. For the money it is highly recommended. I give the mount 5 stars because it is a quality mount.

The product easily installs to put your micro red dot at co-witness height of standard AR-15 sights, but it would look better if it didn't have the logo plastered over the side. Would be nice to have a QD version that is affordable!

Great durable, yet economical mount for absolute cowitness. They make a higher mount for lower 1/3 cowitness which I also purchased and is also great. In a world of $100+ optic mounts this is a refreshing solution when you don't need more than a riser mount. Fits aimpoint micro red dot sights or other sights designed to use aimpoint mounts. THIS WILL NOT WORK FOR ATIBAL RED DOT SIGHTS... ask me how I know.Fortunately some careful work with a file & dremel allowed me to get it mated to my AT-MCRD I optic. Would buy this mount again and again and again.
