I went with these as they met my price point and were a nice look with the real leather. Everything that I hoped they would be with good design, sewing, and fit. These are the ones that go down around the knee/calf, so better for cooler weather and have a nice lining to make them easy to wear all day/slide off and on.The embellishments are nice but not over the top and probably closer to what you would wear for daily use if you want to wear lederhosen all the time? If you want the fancy ones to make people go "WOW, Nice Lederhosen!" this is probably to plain for you. Get a colorful shirt, a nice hat, and after a few beers everyone looks great.Going to the bathroom requires a couple of buttons undo or you just slip off the suspenders and let the whole thing slide down. Just a heads up if you have had too many beverages and "really" need to go. You also really need the long socks to go with this, as the lower part is unlined and the leather will rub your leg hair off after a 1/2 mile of walking around.I opted to go up 1 size from what I normally wear and it does fit more comfortably but think I might have been fine with my normal size and wearing it around the house for a day or two to stretch it out. I am 6' 2" and usually wear a 40" but went for a 42".Regardless of the size, I do recommend wearing it before you go to an even, as the knee and calf area were tight for me in the beginning and setting was a bit of a conscious effort. I sat in a chair for dinner and playing cards one night while wearing them and that loosened them up a bunch. After that, they are like heavy sweatpants.

Expected this to basically be spirit Halloween costume level of quality, but these are actually a thick suede leather. Looks pretty legit.

I've been celebrating my birthday at oktoberfests for years now. This year my wife was buying a new dirndl and I wanted something new and festive as well. Found this company online and they seem to get great reviews. After looking at their lederhosen I decided to pull the trigger and purchase. For the price I expected nice but what I received far exceeded my expectations. These are the real deal. Thick leather, a soft inner lining and beautiful accents. The decorative stiching, the carved horn like buttons and even a right side knife pocket. Very authentically traditional. These lederhosen are made to be worn for years to come. I wore them for 3 days straight. I got several compliments everyday. And each day the leather worked in to fit better and better. Now I can't wait till next year. I will purchase from this company again and I have recommended others to as well.

These have pretty incredible quality for such a niche product at this price point. My only real problems with these are 1. the leather lacing is pretty much just decorative (it won't stay tied and doesn't really tighten things up anyways) and 2. they were falling off of me after about 6 hours of use.I erred on the larger size for mine, going up to a 38 from my usual 36 in Levis. That seems to be the suggested strategy in other reviews here and they did fit me incredibly well right off the bat, but I urge you: do not be tempted by the convenience of initial comfort over long-term use.Wore the pants without suspenders to a day at the local Rennaisance Faire, and by the end of it they were falling off. Laced them up as tight as they'll go and, at this point, it is clear they won't be staying up without a belt and suspenders. That's fine for Oktoberfest once a year, but I was really hoping they could do double duty for my twice-a-year trips to the Faire.Still gets 4 stars for all the good stuff, but I doubt I'll be getting nearly as much use out of them as I had intended, so the value goes down somewhat for me.

I got a size larger then I needed because more often then not things come in too small. This was not the case. I wear a 42 and should have gotten a 42, the 44 was just too large on me. But the quality of fabric and leather is top notch. The straps are long enough for a tall person. I wish they would have fit so I could have kept them, but the size down that I needed would have taken to long to make Oktoberfest. Highly recommend, and they do not disappoint. The buttons and buckles are nice quality as well.

I wanted a lederhosen for Oktoberfest outings, and began to shop the internet and social media. For one reason or another I was passing on various lederhosen from vendors because the vendor seemed a bit sketchy and unproven. Getting scammed is a real concern these days. One of the other reasons I passed on these was the sizing. Considering other vendors it seemed that "true to size" was inconclusive. Size up, go by vendor chart, use European sizing...This vendor BAVARIA TRACHTEN seemed to have it all. They have an overwhelmingly positive customer satisfaction, and the company itself clearly says they are "true to size" and provide a chart to be certain. They also have a presence on Amazon, so I was confident that if it didn't work out I could return the item and get a refund.I got my lederhosen within 24 hours, and they were packed professionally and fit great. They were true to my size. I'm a 32.

Bought this for my boyfriend for our trip to Munich during Oktoberfest. It is real leather, which was a little heavy but very soft. Our friends in Germany were saying that it was so authentic looking and they were surprised I bought it online. It was also more cost-effective than buying one in Munich.

I'm always skeptical purchasing goods from Amazon like this, but this exceeded by expectations. This is well constructed, good fitting, all genuine leather with what appears to be good stitching. I'm 6'2", 185lbs and ordered a 34 waist. Fits great! I don't know much about leather, but this feels very quality and rugged.If you want lederhosen to last years and not look like a tacky Halloween costume, I highly recommend this product!
