Kirkland Signature Crushed Red Pepper, 10 oz

This is excellent chili pepper. When I saw the color I was concerned it would be too hot. It's not. The flavor is very deep. Almost raisiny. Excellent heat. It comes on slow and is comfortably warm - hot. I paid far more for "high end" pepper that was not as complex.

I cook with a lot of chili flakes and I really like these. The package came undamaged, thankfully.They have just the right amount of zing, they don’t fade, and I know I’ll buy another when I finish the bottle, it’s my third so far. I don’t get to Costco often but I don’t have to worry because I can buy on Amazon.Great product....Note to Amazon, I don’t like the plastic mail bags you use, products get damaged.

I don't know what to say, really. I use it in a lot of different recipes. I don't know that the red pepper is much better or worse than other red peppers, but I use a LOT and the convenience of the packaging really helps! The flavor is certainly what you would expect from crushed red peppers. Try this stuff in your next marinara! Garlic, olive oil and basil are about all you need with a generous sprinkling of Kirkland crushed red pepper! And if that doesn't sound good . . . don't knock it if you haven't ever tried it!

The only downside to getting such a huge amount of red pepper is you use a huge amount...wait a second, that's not a downside at all. Love the brand, love the product.

A nice addition to add kick to many recepies

I used Crushed pepper on everything. Used to get this at Costco but since I moved I dont have a membership. So I found it online. This is good stuff. Standard red pepper. Lasts for a while. Good amount for the price.

Somehow I never imagined how very large the bottle would be! The red pepper had a good aroma and a yummy, hot bite. Very fresh and tasty. Wish I had a Costco anywhere near where I live -- Kirkland stuff is great!

Has a great flavor without being too hot!
